Role Purpose

Zain Iraq is Actively recruiting to hire Senior RPA Developer who will be responsible on the designs, builds and maintains the automation workflows that power Zain Iraq's RPA program, working across both UiPath and Blue Prism. Reporting to the IT Manager, this role takes approved business requirements and turns them into robust, well-architected and reusable automations — integrating with source systems, documenting solutions thoroughly, and handing off stable, well-tested bots for release and operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, code and unit-test automation workflows in both UiPath and Blue Prism, following approved Process Definition Documents and solution designs.

• Integrate automations with business applications, databases, APIs and web services, and with the relevant Orchestrator / Control Room environment, ensuring secure and reliable data exchange.

• Produce and maintain Solution Design Documents (SDDs), technical specifications and process workflow diagrams for every automation built.

• Translate business requirements into detailed technical solution designs, applying reusable components, exception-handling frameworks and coding standards, for review and approval by the Automation Lead & BA.

• Support the Platform, QA & Support Engineer through unit testing, defect resolution and a clean handover of automations into SIT/UAT and release.

• Build and maintain a library of reusable components and coding standards to improve development speed and consistency across both platforms.

Education, Experience and Competencies

Education

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.

Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on RPA development experience, with proven experience in at least one of UiPath or Blue Prism; working knowledge of both platforms strongly preferred.

• Programming/scripting experience in VB.NET, C#, Python or similar, plus strong SQL skills.

• Experience integrating automations with APIs, web services and enterprise applications.

• UiPath (e.g., UiPath Certified Professional) and/or Blue Prism developer certification preferred.

• Strong grasp of RPA workflow design patterns, reusable component libraries and exception-handling frameworks (e.g., Reframe work or equivalent).

• Solid database and API integration skills, and comfort working across more than one automation platform.

• Strong debugging and troubleshooting ability, with disciplined technical documentation habits.

• Understanding of Orchestrator / Control Room concepts (queues, assets, credentials, scheduling).

• Collaborative mindset to work closely with business analysis and QA/support functions.
