Role Purpose

Zain Iraq is actively recruiting to hire RPA Automation Expert. Who Will be responsible on the business side of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) program. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy and technical delivery: it defines and governs how automation opportunities are identified, qualified, prioritized and justified, and it is accountable for ensuring every automated process reflects a solid, well-architected business solution before it reaches development. The role reports to the Business Excellence Team Manager and works in close daily partnership with the IT Manager and the RPA delivery team (Multi-Platform RPA Developer and Platform, QA & Support Engineer) to turn business pain points into measurable automation value.

Key Responsibilities

• Define, maintain and enforce governance standards, delivery methodology and best practices for the RPA program across both the UiPath and Blue Prism platforms; act as the accountable owner of program quality and compliance.

• Lead the discovery and assessment of candidate business processes across departments; run feasibility studies (technical, financial, operational) to determine which processes are suitable for automation.

• Engage business stakeholders to elicit, document and validate detailed business and functional requirements, translating them into Process Definition Documents (PDDs) that the delivery team can build from.

• Own and approve the business-fit and architectural soundness of proposed automation solutions, ensuring designs produced by the RPA Developer meet business intent, governance standards and scalability requirements.

• Maintain the automation pipeline and roadmap, balancing business value, complexity and capacity to sequence delivery in line with organizational priorities.

• Build ROI models and business cases for proposed automations, and track realized benefits (time saved, cost avoided, error reduction) against forecast after go-live.

• Act as the primary liaison between the Business Excellence Team, IT, and business-unit stakeholders throughout the automation lifecycle, from intake to post-implementation review.

• Provide regular status, pipeline and benefits-realization reporting to the Business Excellence Team Manager and relevant governance forums.

Education, Experience & Skills

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in business analysis, process improvement or business excellence roles, including at least 2 years working directly on RPA or intelligent automation initiatives.

• Working knowledge of UiPath and/or Blue Prism from a business/solution-design perspective (hands-on development not required).

• Lean Six Sigma, BPM (Business Process Management) or CBAP certification is a strong plus.

• Prior experience in telecom or another large, process-intensive enterprise is an advantage.

• Process mapping and modeling (BPMN or equivalent) and structured requirements elicitation techniques.

• Strong understanding of RPA governance frameworks, operating models and solution-design principles across multiple automation platforms.
