About Zain
About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate candidate to be responsible for leading a client-facing (mobile apps) technical track — in the design, development, and sustained delivery of Zain Jordan's Advanced Business Mobile Applications. Owns their track end-to-end, from architectural decisions and hands-on engineering through to code quality, testing, and documentation, operating with a high degree of autonomy while working in close coordination with the other teams and under the overall technical direction of the Division Leader.
Main Responsibilities, will include but will not be limited to:
Own and lead the full technical delivery of the client-facing mobile applications track, taking end-to-end accountability for architecture, implementation quality, and on-time delivery across the Flutter mobile and web client layer.
Design, develop, and maintain all components within the client track, including client-side real-time communication flows, SDK integration, Arabic RTL UI, native Android/iOS components, and the supporting client-side data and state management layers.
Collaborate actively to define and align on cross-cutting concerns — including API contracts, authentication flows, real-time event delivery, error handling strategies, and shared architectural decisions — ensuring the client layer integrates seamlessly with back-end services into a unified platform.
Ensure the client track meets all enterprise-grade non-functional requirements, including platform security standards (AES-256 encryption, secure token handling, hardware-backed keystores), performance and responsiveness targets, and device and OS compatibility requirements across the supported Android and iOS landscape.
Establish and enforce track-level engineering standards — including coding conventions, component design patterns, test coverage expectations, and CI/CD pipeline discipline — to maintain a consistent, high-quality, and maintainable client codebase.
Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and technical design sessions, providing accurate effort estimates, surfacing track-specific dependencies, and flagging risks or blockers early.
Produce and maintain clear, thorough technical documentation for all components within the assigned track — covering integration patterns, API specifications, deployment procedures, and configuration guides — to support knowledge transfer and long-term platform maintainability.
