About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate candidate to contributes primarily to the back-end development track — supporting the design, development, and sustained delivery of server-side services, APIs, data infrastructure, and telecom integration layers that power the division's solutions. Executes assigned development tasks under the technical guidance and direction of the Division Leader, progressively building depth across the division's technology stack while contributing to code quality, testing, and documentation.

Main Responsibilities, will include but will not be limited to:

• Study business and sales requirements and subsequently develop them into back-end solutions, as well as test and integrate them with current systems, contributing to the optimization of implemented systems

• Monitor the performance of servers and applications and ensure the day-to-day smooth running of systems, supporting proper utilization in line with the function's requirements and overall business objectives.

• Develop technical solutions, platforms, and changes based on business or technical needs

• Develop programs and integration back-ends for Business Support Systems and Customer Care Applications and touchpoints, including FTTH Contractors, Corporate SMS, CMS back-ends, CMS adapters, HR Solutions, Commission Engines, CDRs back-ends, and similar systems.

• Work alongside front-end and mobile developers within the division to implement the back-ends and APIs needed for the delivered solutions, aligning on contracts and integration points.

• Use a variety of programming languages and technologies to build robust back-end platforms and user-facing solutions, including Java, Java Spring Boot, PHP, MongoDB, MySQL, Oracle DB, REST APIs, Web Services, and microservices.

• Support implementation across multiple platforms and legacy software applications, contributing to migrations and integration efforts as assigned.

• Participate in code reviews as both author and reviewer, applying feedback constructively and learning from the process to strengthen technical depth.

• Contribute to the division's CI/CD practices, building and maintaining pipeline components and using DevOps tooling in use at Zain (Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, Elasticsearch & Kibana, Prometheus & Grafana).

What We Need From You

To be shortlisted for this position, you will need to comply with all of the below requirements:

• Holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or any related field

• Minimum: 3 years of relevant experience.
