Role Purpose

Zain Iraq is actively recruiting to hire a Corporate Copywriter Specialist to craft clear, compelling, and bilingual content that effectively communicates the company’s brand voice and strategic messaging. This role is responsible for developing high-quality written materials across a variety of platforms—including press releases, internal communications, marketing campaigns, executive speeches, websites, and social media—in both Arabic and English.

The ideal candidate will have a strong command of language, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt content for different audiences and formats. Working closely with internal teams and stakeholders, the Corporate Copywriting Specialist will ensure all content is consistent with Zain’s tone, accurate, engaging, and aligned with business objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Write and edit content in Arabic and English for press releases, newsletters, corporate reports, websites, speeches, social media, presentations, and marketing materials.

  • Develop compelling copy that aligns with the brand’s voice and business objectives.

  • Collaborate with communication, marketing, digital, and design teams to produce integrated content campaigns.

  • Ensure all written material is accurate, clear, and adheres to company tone, style, and messaging guidelines.

  • Translate materials between Arabic and English while preserving meaning, context, and tone.

  • Support executive communication needs, including internal messages, talking points, and speeches.

  • Research topics to ensure content is informative, factually accurate, and relevant to target audiences.

  • Maintain and update content across platforms, including websites and social media.

  • Proofread and fact-check all written materials before publication.

  • Adapt content to suit different audiences, regions, and platforms.

Education, Experience and Competencies

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, Communications, Arabic Language, English Literature, Marketing, or a related field.

Experience

  • Proven experience managing complex communication projects from concept to completion.

  • Native or near-native fluency in both Arabic and English (spoken and written).

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills in both languages.

  • Strong understanding of corporate and business communication styles.

  • Experience working with brand guidelines and tone of voice documentation.

  • Familiarity with digital marketing platforms and content management systems.

  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality standards.

  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and digital content writing is a plus.
