Role Propose

Zain Iraq is actively recruiting to hire an HR Talent Acquisition Specialist who is responsible for provisioning specialized skills and broad knowledge in specialized areas. The job entails involvement in the day-to-day activities of the Department to ensure proper accomplishment of HR activities in coordination with the Supervisor.

Key Accountabilities
  • Understand HR Department Strategy and plans, and participate in the achievement of objectives and targets

  • Undertake a range of HR activities with occasional supervision and provide guidance and support to other team members

  • Assist in the development of HR-related material and documentation to ensure requirements are met.

  • Implement approved HR-related policies, processes, and procedures to ensure work is carried out in a consistent manner

  • Participate as a member of the work group to debate on topics related to the HR specialization area to ensure the quality of services provided to employees.

  • Assist in coaching junior staff in carrying out assigned tasks to contribute to their development.

  • Generate periodical and ad hoc report analyses.

  •  Conduct analyses of recruitment and vacancies data for the generation of periodical and ad hoc reports.

  • Post vacancies, gather potential candidate applications and screen in line with job specifications.

  • Prepare and organize interviews, assessments and end-of-service procedures (exit interview)

  • Collect data for input into job descriptions and updating of the competencies framework.

  • Introduce new recruiting concepts to executive leadership management

  • Develops knowledge of current marketplace trends to ensure competitive hiring.

  • Works with recruitment agencies to identify, attract and recruit talent and increase the network of contacts through social media to help identify and source qualified candidates to enhance the talent pipeline for frequent and critical roles

  • Organize a college recruitment process by researching and developing target lists of colleges, universities and other relevant organisations; identifying opportunities for internship positions; and supervising the success of college recruiting efforts.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration-related field or equivalent

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience with 1 year in a similar role
