JOB TITLE: Enterprise & Digital Systems Team Leader

REPORT TO: Systems & Solutions Senior Manager.

JOB PURPOSE:

The Enterprise & Digital Systems Team Leader is responsible for collaborating with Business Units, Solutions, and Enterprise teams to analyze business requirements and translate them into actionable technical solutions. This includes managing the design, deployment, and configuration of enterprise and digital systems in alignment with business demands, technology strategies, architecture blueprints, and roadmaps. The role also involves ensuring the development and maintenance of technical design documentation and overseeing capacity upgrades in accordance with service capacity management guidelines and current system status.

KEY TASKS & ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  1. 1. Lead and manage the design (HLD and LLD), deployment, and configuration of enterprise and

    management information systems (MIS), including ERP modules (Supply Chain, HR Management, and

    Finance), Revenue Assurance, Business Performance Management, Enterprise Content Management

    (ECM), Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Fraud Management, Enterprise Portals, Self-Service

    Applications, Collaboration Services, Knowledge Management, and Asset Management systems.

    2. Manage the High-Level and Low-Level Design of platforms and solutions for Mobile Financial Services,

    as well as Enterprise and Digital systems. Update technical documentation for nodes and systems to

    ensure alignment with business requirements and roadmaps

    3. Oversee the project implementation process, ensuring timely closure. Supervise the design and

    deployment of FinTech services, as well as Enterprise and Digital systems, while ensuring strict

    adherence to information security (infosec) guidelines and policies.

    4. Analyze business requests and translate them into technical requirements. Perform capacity

    forecasting and provide feedback on demand feasibility, impact, required capacity, features, system

    interdependencies, system changes, and project prioritization, ensuring alignment with technical

    architecture and adherence to standards.

    5. Participate in the technology business planning cycle by identifying annual project plans, providing

    cost estimates, and raising and following up on requests for hardware, storage expansion, and new

    software licenses.

    6. Design and implement strategic projects as part of the technology roadmap. Define system and node

    architectures, interface requirements, and project integration needs. Manage and control the

    necessary changes across systems to ensure seamless integration.

    7. Coordinate and facilitate workshops with stakeholders, including external platform owners, billing

    teams, integration layers, and business units, to ensure alignment and integrity of the end-to-end

    design. Update the technical design documentation accordingly.

    8. Maintain the project/release pipeline, prioritizing tasks, and manage the deployment lifecycle.

    performance, and provide regular reports and feedback to Program Management Governance (PMO)

    and Vendor Management teams.

    9. Develop change requirements, perform impact assessments, and identify projects if the change is not

    related to configuration.

    10. Lead acceptance testing (unit, platform, and integration) and ensure a smooth handover to

    operations.

    11. Plan for capacity upgrades in line with service capacity management guidelines and current capacity

    status.

    12. Develop RFP scopes, specifications, and response assessments in alignment with Vendor

    Management, Procurement, and the Group to ensure blueprint consistency and service homogeneity

    across the footprint (where applicable). Prepare and evaluate technical RFP requirements

    13. Analysis and evaluation of Vendors’ Solutions to support the strategic decision and directions.

    14. Manage and update function KPIs and regular Progress Reports. 

    15. Ensure compliance with all applicable information security policies and regulatory requirements while

    ensuring that design and development adhere to integration and service design standards, processes,

    and policies, aligned with ITIL and SDLC best practices.Manage and update functional KPIs, along with

    regular progress reports.

    16. Manage team members by fostering motivation, engagement, skill development, knowledge sharing,

    and performance improvement.

What We Need From You

PERSON SPECIFICATION       

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

  1. 1. BSC in Computer/Telecommunication Engineering or Computer science. 

    2. Previous experience in Project Management is mandatory. 

    3. Minimum 5 years of experience in a related field.

    4. Knowledge and experience in Enterprise & Digital systems.

    5. Knowledge of Cloud and Infrastructure is preferred.

    6. Knowledge in the telecommunication domain is an advantage.

    7. Vendor-Specific Certification is a Plus

    8. TMForum certification is a Plus.
