Role purpose
Zain Iraq is actively recruiting to hire Revenue Assurance Senior Professional The jobs at this level are responsible for executing and creating comprehensive analyses spanning the entire revenue cycle to help ensure that all revenue is properly billed and recognized. The jobs at this level are also responsible for carrying out risk analysis to provide data and information for decision-making purposes, and identifying trends and relationships in coverages and claims
Responsibilities
Govern Assurance Controls: Lead end-to-end improvement activities, reporting development, and governance, ensuring stakeholders have a clear contact channel.
Drive Process Efficiency: Engage in continuous process improvements through suggesting initiatives to ensure that revenue assurance processes are efficient, reliable, and customer driven.
Systemic Control Management: Monitor audit and control points, coordinate and follow up on leakage/error correction, and implement additional audit and control points as necessary.
Develop Tools & Documentation: Develop tools, methods, and procedures to proactively identify revenue leakage or other errors and ensure method and procedure documentation is maintained.
Collect and analyse appropriate data (e.g., coverage and claims) and liaise with internal/external partners and suppliers to exchange and clarify data, focusing on Interconnect and Wholesale domains.
Deep Financial Linkages: Manage the key linkages between Revenue Operations, the MDA (Management of Data and Analytics), and Finance, including improving data integrity, ensuring process flows are understood with clear accountabilities, and reconciliations are regularly undertaken.
Advanced Root Cause Analysis: Perform thorough root-cause analysis of all billing and revenue recognition issues, following through to resolution and communicating with appropriate parties.
Proactive Risk Anticipation: Anticipate client needs and business risks before they arise, providing data analysis for strategic and tactical decision-making and presenting actionable solutions to management.
Compliance & Reporting: Produce standardized and ad hoc reports, discussing variances and trends, and making formal recommendations for action by others.
Carrier Contract Audits: Analyse and audit all types of global invoices across multiple carriers (including roaming and interconnect) to determine authenticity of services billed against their associated contracts and/or customer service records.
Profitability Review: Review various client global contracts and benchmark against current global market rates to ensure pricing integrity and profitability.
Education, Experience and Competencies
Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
Additional knowledge in finance or accounting is an advantage.
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a similar role.
