Corporate Events / PR & Direct Marketing Communication Specialist

Job Purpose:

To plan, manage, and execute corporate events, public relations, and direct marketing communications in line with Zain telecom standards, brand governance, and regulatory requirements. This role supports corporate reputation, customer engagement, and stakeholder confidence while ensuring consistent, compliant, and measurable communication across all channels.

Roles & Responsibilities

Corporate Events

  • Plan and deliver corporate, regulatory, customer, and stakeholder events (e.g., launches, forums, government engagements).

  • Ensure events comply with Zain regulatory, brand, security, and protocol requirements.

  • Manage event logistics, suppliers, budgets, and risk assessments.

  • Coordinate internal alignment across Technology, Commercial, Legal, Finance, and Regulatory teams.

  • Deliver post-event evaluations, lessons learned, and ROI reporting.

Public Relations (PR)

  • Develop and implement PR strategies aligned with Zain brand positioning and corporate objectives.

  • Manage media relations, press releases, briefings, and executive visibility.

  • Support crisis and issues communication, working closely with Legal and Regulatory Affairs.

  • Monitor media coverage, sentiment, and reputational risks.

  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and regulatory compliance in all public messaging.

Direct Marketing Communications

  • Execute targeted direct marketing campaigns (SMS, email, digital, physical) in compliance with Zain data privacy and opt-in regulations.

  • Support customer acquisition, retention, and engagement initiatives.
