About the Role

Department/Section: Indirect Sales and Regional            

Job Title: Retail Sales Team Leader -Kordofan

Reports to: Kordofan Regional Manager

Job Purpose: Manage the various retail shops under the regional office territory. Responsible for area sales targets for the respective shops. Provide direction and motivation to shop supervisors, facilitating communication between support and management departments. Ensure standards are met in line with brand identity, quality and service levels.

Key Tasks/Accountabilities:

 

 

  • Responsible for coordination and supervision of retail shops activities.

  • Ensure that retail sales targets are met.

  • Ensure that high customer satisfaction and loyalty is achieved.

  • Ensure that high customer experience level is achieved with best look & feel for all the shops that under his supervision.

  • Act as point of contact between retail shops and the different departments within the company.

  • Meet and overachieve set sales targets for all Zain’s products.

  • Develop the area potential through identification of sales and project opportunities.

  • Represent the shops that user his supervision in management meetings, communicate outcome of meetings and messages from management to employees in the respective shops.

  • Monitor overall all retail KPIs and financial performance and operational efficiency.

  • Create awareness of Zain products and services in community, proactively work on marketing and sales plans in alignment with the other sales channels.

  • Report sales performance, progress, and issues.

  • Continuously improve on operations and employee’s performance to meet and exceed targets and objectives.

  • Ensure the product and service knowledge of all staff meet standards.

  • Forecast and manage staffing requirements through schedules to meet customer service levels.

  • Implement and follow all processes, policies, and procedures for shops.

-        Sales performance for retail shops targets.

- Management of shop supervisors (and their compliance with duties) to meet KPIs.

- Zain’s Product & services knowledge and processes for all shops teams.

- Training and Attendance measured attendance at management meetings and trainings

- Enforcement of shop standards, check lists and processes.


 

 

What We Need From You

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a similar discipline.

  • Minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English are required.

 

 

Skills:

 

  • Must have Strong Retail Management, Sales and Customer Service experience and abilities

    - Experience in a pressurized working environment with the ability to react to customer needs and resolve unexpected conflicting demands in a rapidly changing environment

    - Suitability as role model, leads by example and has a positive influence on others.

    - Must be able to organize and plan daily activities in the shops, self-motivated and a team player.

    - Must be able to inspire and motivate a team, provide leadership and encourage professional growth.

    - Must demonstrate ability to multi-task and produce accurate documents and reports.

    - Excellent communication and the ability to interact effectively with management, employees and customers

    - Must consistently exercise discretion in handling interactions, and in directing clients to the appropriate party for resolving problems or complex issues.
