About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate candidate to Design and create technical solutions and backends needed to accomplish commercial or technical goals and requirements that Zain have, in alignment to the business demand, technology architecture and roadmaps.

Main Responsibilities, will include but will not be limited to:

• Studying business and sales requirements and subsequently developing them into backend solutions, as well as testing and integrating them to current systems and contributing to the optimization of implemented systems.

• Monitoring the performance of servers and applications and ensuring the day-to-day smooth running of systems to ensure proper utilization of the systems in line with function’s requirements and overall business objectives.

• Developing programs and Integration Backends for Business Support Systems and Customer Care Applications and touch points including FTTH Contractors, Corporate SMS, CMS Backends, CMS Adapters, HR Solutions, Commission Engines, CDRs Backends, etc.

• Developing technical solutions, platforms and changes based on business or technical needs.

• Using a variety of programming languages to create user-friendly solutions and robust backend platforms (Java, Java Spring Boot, PHP, Mongo DB, MYSQL DB, Oracle DB, Rest APIs, Web Services, Microservices, etc.).

• Evaluate different products and technologies (including open source) to help deliver new solutions or enhance existing.

• Working alongside with digital team front end developers to implement the needed backends and API needed for the implemented solutions.

• Evaluate different products and technologies (including open source) to help deliver new solutions or enhance existing.

• Identify and troubleshoot various solutions issues and coding problems, and support in troubleshooting issues arising from delivered projects.

What We Need From You

To be shortlisted for this position, you will need to comply with all of the below requirements:

• Holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or any related field

• Preferred: 2 years of relevant experience.
