About the Role

To support the coordination and execution of media activities, investor-related communications, and events, while gaining practical exposure to corporate communications, media relations, and stakeholder engagement within a telecom environment.

What We Need From You

  • Education

    Bachelor's degree Communications, Advertising, Marketing, Journalism & Literature or related field is required.

  • Experience

    Experience in marketing, media management, or corporate communication is a plus.

  • Technical Skills

    Excellent command in Arabic and English.

    Excellent communication, interaction and analytical skills to facilitate in communication and presentation roles required of this position

    Excellent writing skills required

    Ability to navigate and be successful in a fast-paced, highly-matrixed work environment

    Business, Technical & Commercial Awareness

    Excellent drafting Press Releases & editorials.

    Verifying the authenticity of news sources.

    Differentiating between official, cultural, sports ..etc news.

    Non-literal translation of news.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Assist in responding to requests for publicly disclosed information related to operating results, business updates, and corporate strategy.

  • Support the planning and coordination of conferences, roadshows, and the annual media plan.

  • Participate in the preparation and execution of the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and other shareholder-related events.

  • Support the execution of approved communication and media strategies.

  • Assist in monitoring budgets for media and investor relations activities and flagging variances when required.

  • Support day-to-day media relations activities and contribute to maintaining media presence across relevant channels.

  • Conduct market and media research to support communication initiatives and event planning.

  • Assist with event planning, including venue coordination, audience lists, timelines, and logistics.

  • Support the consistent integration of Zain’s corporate brand across media events and communication materials.

  • Assist in drafting, editing, and reviewing content for press releases, editorials, and annual reports.

  • Maintain and update stakeholder and media contact databases.

  • Support post-event reporting, including feedback collection, basic financial tracking, and media coverage summaries.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
