About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate candidate to Planning for Radio Access Network’s facilities, and subsequently preparing installation and execution plans, as well as monitoring RAN network performance through participating in tests; identifying related issues, reporting them, and taking necessary actions to resolve them accordingly, in addition to the participation in sites RF configuration activities to ensure optimal utilization of resources, satisfy business needs and maintain network performance levels.

Main Responsibilities, will include but will not be limited to:

• Handling Radio Frequency and Site Planning covering RAN facilities and solutions, through conducting wireless site surveys, using available software, and following Zain’s policies and procedures, including TRC requirements, in order to identify site’s coverage and capacity needs and achieving target customer satisfaction level, such as planning the needed coverage sites in East Amman.

• Analyzing Radio Frequency drive test results; collecting data and statistics and analyzing them subsequently; to evaluate network’s performance and detect and validate faults/ issues/ service degradation.

• Contributing to monitoring RAN Key Performance Indicators for newly operated sites and expansions and analyzing network performance related data and statistics, to identify any deviation from targets, and subsequently reporting it to take further actions.

• Handling New Technologies, Projects with their activities covering RAN systems and equipment, according to Zain’s quality standards and set plans to fulfill identified sites’ needs and overcome any changes in site’s environment that affect network performance, while ensuring optimal utilization of resources and proper customer experience, such as 5G project and rollout.

• Handling and following up with customer complaints regarding RAN stations issues, such as low coverage, Quality of Services, etc., carrying out troubleshooting activities, taking necessary actions to solve them appropriately; ensuring customer satisfaction, while preparing comprehensive reports accordingly.

• Testing and validating new processes related to optimizing the workflow and procedures followed internally such as new sites process

• Handling Network sponsored events including planning the solution along with related departments and ensure that the required services are met and delivered on time and reporting the results for evaluation.

What We Need From You

To be shortlisted for this position, you will need to comply with all of the below requirements:

• Holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics Engineering or any related field.

• Preferred: 2 years of relevant experience.
