About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate candidate to Coordinate and execute Information Security Governance functions’ activities in order to ensure proper controls are implemented effectively in compliance with best practices, baselines and international standards, in addition to follow up proper setup and testing of business continuity and disaster recovery plans.

Main Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to

  • Conduct security checks for different platforms to evaluates and assess security risks

  • Follow up implementation of controls to secure Zain’s environment

  • Establish and audit the implementation of the technical security baselines, guidelines, and industry best practices and standards in the security field.

  • Conduct external security assessments to protect Zain’s external network

  • Assist in developing security policies and procedures.

  • Implement security controls that align to international baseline and related standards requirements (such as ISO, NIST, ..)

  • Spread security awareness among employees through awareness sessions and other methods

  • Administration and management of different security solutions (Hardware, Software) and ensure proper implementation

  • Security incident handling and root cause analysis

  •  Serve as a liaison between different functional areas to ensure that InfoSec Policy related business requirements for protecting sensitive data are clearly defined, communicated and well understood and considered as part of operational prioritization and planning

  • Facilitate different audit exercises and follow up corrective actions

  • Manage the corporate Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery program to ensure the availability and recoverability of all critical business services.

What We Need From You

To be shortlisted for this position, you will need to comply with all of the below requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical/ network/ communication Engineer/ Network security Engineer or a related field

  • 0-2 years of relevant experience

  • Certificates: ISO22301/27001/ 27701 Lead Implementer/Lead Auditor,
    CISA
