About the Role

We are looking for a fresh graduate to join the Engineering Department for a one-year internship contract under Zain Youth Program.

Job tasks: 

  • Administrating and Maintaining VAS systems (SMS Services, USSD, Missed Call Notification, etc...) hosted on Windows and Linux environments.

  • Implementing scripts to extract information and/or automate tasks using bash scripting, python or any other tools.

  • Implementing the requested updates/modifications required by Marketing Product Owners.

  • Develop in-house solutions to facilitate daily tasks.

What We Need From You

The suitable candidate should have the following requirements:

Bachelor degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or any related field.

Soft skills:

  • Proficiency in English (Reading, Writing, Listening & Speaking).

  • Problem Solving skills.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Collaboration and teamwork.

Technical skills:

  • Knowledge in APIs, HTML and CSS.

  • OS administration (Linux/Windows).

  • RDBMSs administration (Mysql, MSSQL or Oracle).

  • Background in one of the following and any extra language is a plus (Python, bash scripting, C++ or PHP).

  • Cloud computing basics (RHOS, VMware).
