About the Role

Department/Section: Commercial

Job Title: Corporate Identity & Brand Support Specialist

Reports to: Branding Team Leader

Job Purpose:

To be fully accountable to lead development of the ZAIN Brand, help

in ensuring realistic and challenging targets are set for Brand awareness, equity, and

Brand positioning to help in achieving customer satisfaction and retention, return on

PR and advertising investment and brand development activity


Key Tasks/Accountabilities:

 


1. Lead the development of the ZAIN brand values and act as custodian

of the company image to enhance competitive positioning

2. Work on developing and positioning branding strategies.

3. To ensure that all events are branded in accordance with guidelines

and with the utmost quality

4. To ensure that all usage of Zain Imagery & logo is as per guidelines.

5. Ensure processes are in place to enable effective Brand

communication across Zain.

6. Act as an internal consultant across ZAIN, providing professional

advice, guidance, and support within the Brand and cross[1]functionally.

7. Provide the branding Team Leader with feedback &

recommendations about all Zain Branding and follow up with the

Legal department on all issues regarding the registration of Zain

brands.

8. Approve with Branding Team Leader the design and proofs of all

display, advertising, Zain third-party Ads, and other promotional materials and activities

9. Provide support and advice for the various departments in

campaigning new launched products and Branding.

10. Supervise and ensure proper branding of other departments.

11. Participate in Branding Budgeting and Branding Roadmap.

What We Need From You

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Qualifications/Experience:

  • • Educated to Degree level (Business/ Marketing /Branding or other relevant

    degrees)

    • Relevant Professional Marketing/Business qualification essential

    • Minimum 2 years of previous experience of a Senior Marketing role (Media/

    PR/Production) in a private sector organisation is essential

    • International Branding experience preferred

    • Ability to communicate in Arabic and English is essential

Knowledge:

• In-depth understanding of all elements of the Brand and Branding

  • • In-depth understanding of Advertising materials used to support Branding.

    . Assets within his/her responsibilities in accordance to achieve total

    branding targets

    Responsible for the security, Confidentiality & Integrity, of all information

    assets within his/her responsibilities in accordance with the company’s

    Information Security Policies

    . Plan, develop and host corporate events and activities to enhance the

    reputation and image of ZAIN in the marketplace

    15. Do all desk work and undertake any additional relevant tasks/activities as

    delegated by the Branding Team Leader
    .• In-depth understanding of the Sudan market and ZAIN business strategy, goals and

    competitive environment.

    • In-depth knowledge of current best practice Marketing and Production methods

    and approaches.

    • In-depth Mobile Telecommunications product/market knowledge.
