About the Role

Prepaid Segments supports in the development and execution of commercially attractive, above the line, Prepaid voice and broadband acquisitions products, services and campaigns that cater to the consumer segment. The Prepaid Analyst aids in the definition of the strategy, analyzes trends and customer preferences, and often leads the documentation effort concerning concept papers, value propositions, product specifications. Additionally, the Prepaid Analyst will be required to coordinate with various stakeholders across Zain to help ensure the consistent and timely production of initiatives

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and documentation of product designs, concept papers, and lend support to product production throughout the pipeline (marcom, technical, sales agent trainings, etc.) communicate in- depth business requirements to technical teams

  • Coordination with relevant stakeholders including internal Marketing (Budgeting, Planning, and Customer Insights and CVM, Marcom functions etc.) as well Non-Marketing departments (Technical, Business Intelligence, Legal, Sales etc.) to help ensure successful and timely product launches

  • Conduct post launch analysis to verify the profitability of launched product and services, identify threats and opportunities, and provide recommendations accordingly.

  • Research industry trends to identify and respond to developments relevant to Zain

  • Benchmark international markets with regard to ATL Prepaid products, services and customer requirements, derive learnings for Zain and report to Segment management to support the generation of initiative ideas

  • Liaise with marketing functions (Budgeting, Planning and Customer Insights) to develop deeper understanding of acquisition trends and behavior, as well as competition developments in order support the development of customer value propositions for new acquisition related offerings, promotions and campaigns

  • Verify and health check outputs from Business Intelligence team based on knowledge of the business and available sources.

  • Support in the market sizing of potential opportunity for new products, via value proposition and business case presented by Segments and CVM teams

  • Monitor operational and financial KPIs by conducting daily, weekly and monthly statistical reports, and ensure targets are met, provide regular reporting to management

  • Analyze recorded performance based on KPIs and provide actionable insights

  • Support in collaborating with remaining marketing teams to achieve commercial ambitions including: (expansion of core offerings, boosters, add-ons, channel load migration initiatives, channel experience enhancement initiatives, and BTL opportunities)

  • Assist in taking an active role in supporting the Operational Marketing Director in identifying and overseeing new business partnership opportunities and value-add creations to add to the Zain Portfolio

  • Ensure close coordination with Sales / Care / Digital departments and ensure ambitious product & service levels are achieved / enhanced for the postpaid segment

  • Assist in the facilitation of effective & efficient development & roll-out of services and features in close coordination with all stakeholders

  • Perform all the above-mentioned roles and responsibilities in compliance to the Information Security Management System (ISMS) policies and report any information/physical security breaches or incidents to the supervisor/manager immediately

  • Be aware of, and adhere to, all environmental requirements as set by the statutory bodies in Kuwait, or by the published policies of Zain Group/Kuwait

  • Zain abides by fulfilling the occupational health and safety certificate requirements that establishes and maintains an OH&S management system that eliminate hazards and minimizes OH&S risks (including system deficiencies), take advantage of OH&S opportunities and addresses OH&S management system nonconformities associated with its activities.

  • Ability to support in brainstorming technical solution workarounds in product design without hampering customer experience

  • Customer journey design experience

  • Excellent negotiation skills

  • Excellent verbal communication skills

  • Motivated and self-driven, with a proven history of success in previous roles

  • Good interpersonal and customer care skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify and frame key issues

High reliability in executing tasks within expected timeframe and to expected quality standards

Bachelor’s Degree required Business or a related field; Master’s in business/MBA preferred
