Role Purpose

Zain Iraq is Actively recruiting to hire Youth & Customer Management – Kurdistan Specialist. The role is responsible for driving the strategic development, performance management, and market positioning of youth-focused products and services within the Kurdistan region. The Specialist will act as a key liaison between marketing, technology, and external partners to ensure innovative, competitive, and high-performing solutions tailored to the youth segment. The position requires a strong focus on market research, product lifecycle management, and customer engagement strategies to achieve business growth and long-term customer loyalty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, planning, and execution of youth segment strategies in Kurdistan, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and regional market dynamics.

  • Monitor, analyze, and evaluate the performance of youth products/services, leveraging KPIs and customer insights to drive continuous improvement and maximize profitability.

  • Drive the development and enhancement of new and existing youth-oriented products, preparing robust business cases and ensuring seamless integration with technical and commercial requirements.

  • Oversee reintroduction and repositioning initiatives for underperforming or legacy products to revitalize customer interest and market uptake.

  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to refine product positioning, design targeted youth campaigns, and strengthen brand perception across Kurdistan.

  • Conduct and oversee advanced research and geo-marketing strategies to identify opportunities, competitive threats, and evolving customer behaviors specific to the youth segment.

  • Evaluate, negotiate, and maintain strategic relationships with VAS and technology partners, ensuring SLA compliance and portfolio expansion to support youth-focused offerings.

  • Identify, propose, and champion emerging technologies, digital trends, and innovative solutions that maintain the company’s competitive edge in the youth market.

  • Develop comprehensive user manuals, training programs, and enablement tools for Sales and Customer Care teams to ensure effective product knowledge transfer and customer support.

  • Act as the subject-matter expert for youth and customer management in Kurdistan, providing insights to senior management on trends, risks, and opportunities in the region.

Education, experience and competencies

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Marketing, IT or any related field or equivalent (MBA will be preferred)

Experience

  • A minimum 2 years experience, preferably in Telecommunications.

  • At least 6 months or more experience in Pricing, Segments, Performance Mgmt., Business insights, Base Mgmt.

  • Must be proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Think-cell, and Data warehouse
