About the Role

Department/Section: Digital Services

Job Title: Digital Advertisement Services Specialist

Reports to: Digital Advertisement Services Team Leader

 Job Purpose:

To be fully accountable to maximize the revenue potential new ZAIN OTT & Digital

Advertisement Services and to develop profitable new products/services from concept through

to product launch and Post launch. Also Responsible for planning & execution of Digital

Advertisement services vertically.

Key accountabilities and Tasks:

  • • Develop and execute Digital Advertisement product and services, both short and long and

    coordinate at all stages with ENG, IT, FIN, Sales.

    • Monitor the success of Digital Advertisement products based on factors such as market

    appealing, serviceability, customer experience… etc.

    • Monitor monthly, quarterly reports against business targets for the specific offers &

    promotions.

    • Monitor competition in their Digital Advertisement activity and come with execution

    plans.

    • Continuously monitor overall market, satisfaction, threats, recommendations etc.

    • Responsible for Planning and execute all digital Advertisement Services, including SEO,

    marketing database, email, social media, online Advertisement and display advertising

    campaigns.

    • Define business opportunities within Digital advertisement areas.

    • Expanding footprint of our content across global digital platforms by mapping out

    effective partnership plans.

    • Evaluate the potential financial impact of prospective partnerships i.e., benefits, costs and

    potential risks of each partnership, evaluate deal terms such as minimum guarantees,

    licensing period, etc.

    • Undertake other relevant duties/responsibilities as delegated by line manager.

Dimensions:        

  • Responsible for management of third-party market research suppliers/contracts

    • Specialist Marketing role – needs 3-5 years relevant experience

    • Has responsibility for at least 1 major product and multiple sub-products/value added

    services

    • Contribution to development of Annual Marketing Plan and development of marketing

    strategies, policies and processes

What We Need From You

Qualifications/Experience:

 

  • • Educated to Degree level

    • Relevant professional Marketing/Business qualification essential

    • Previous experience of Product Manager role in a private sector organization

    essential

    • International management experience preferred

    • Should have previous strong track record of success in major new product launches

    • Ability to speak and write Arabic and English essential Minimum

    • 2 years of experience in product development / management, business analysis.

  • • In-depth understanding of all elements of Product Life-Cycle Management and the

    Marketing Mix

    • Good understanding of the Sudan market and ZAIN business strategy, goals and

    competitive environment

    • In-depth knowledge of current best practice market research methods and

    approaches

    • Relevant IT understanding

    • In-depth Mobile Telecommunications product knowledge
