Procurement Specialist
Job Purpose:
To provide Comprehensive and professional administrative support/co-ordination to ensure the smooth running of the procurement department and Company systems. To update records and carry out other related tasks to support the work of procurement team members
Key Tasks of this position
Track deliveries and make sure Zain South Sudan receives exactly what was ordered from suppliers and on time.
Answer Supplier and Customer inquiries about order changes or cancellations
Review and check purchase orders for accuracy, completeness, and clarity as per Zain South Sudan procurement policy and specification before obtaining authorization to place an order from the Supervisor.
Maintain and update procurement records and generate reports on procurement and contract activity to meet Zain South Sudan procurement organizational compliance/requirements.
Provide advice, information and guidance on procurement related matters to staff across the Company and Support good practice in procurement activities and department.
Keeping up to date with procurement policy, process and legislation and building knowledge of the business and supplier markets to meet the organization target.
Build and manage good relationships with our internal clients and the vendors to support our exciting and varied activities across the whole line of our service.
Provide general administrative support activities that contribute to the successful execution of the procurement strategy, policies and processes to support present and future business objectives.
