Contract Management Specialist

Job Purpose:

The Contract Management Specialist provides innovative business strategies, agile contracting solutions, and develops and implements acquisition policy to Zain South Sudan. The selected Candidate will provide business advice and all contractual guidance for a variety of requirements.

Roles of the Position
  • Providing standard contract templates for different products and services which are procured by the Company. That also includes defining standards for commercial and legal terms. Standards for commercial terms like payment terms are set up in consultation with finance department.

  • Define standard fallback clauses and work with sourcing teams to enable sourcing self-service

  • Review vendor contracts to ensure that they meet the defined corporate terms.

  • Frontend the legal terms negotiation with the vendor’s attorneys

  • Setup a central repository for storing all contracts so that it is easy to find contracts and track key dates like expiration and renewal dates

  • Discussing with company’s legal officer to find the optimal model which works for everyone.

  • Overall supervision of contractors administrative and support personnel used on this contract.

  • Supervision and coordination of appropriate technical backstopping services as needed to resolve administrative, technical, and personnel issues as they arise curing the conduct of all awarded tasks orders

  • Monitoring all task order work plans to ensure quality control and timely delivery of all deliverables

  • Preparation, review and delivery of all financial, logistical, and other documents as scheduled for this contract

  • Serve as the primary contact point and liaison between the contractor and the procurement & logistics manager.

  • Bear primary responsibility for procurement, personnel, reporting, and other management related requirements of the contract

  • Initiation and preparation of task order documentation, including recommendation of personnel
