Business continuity Team leader

Business continuity Team leader (BCM TL) oversees BCM activities and ensure an organization can maintain critical functions and quickly recover from disruptions, minimizing downtime and protecting key assets.

Key Tasks/Accountabilities:

• Oversee all business continuity, Business impact analysis testing, and disaster recovery programs

• Develop business continuity maturity roadmap to address the potential continuity risks and threats with a business case.

• Advises management on determining acceptable risk levels for the enterprise and ensuring adequate protection from potential continuity/ resilience risks and threats.

• Prepare detailed reports for senior management, risk committee outlining identified risks, mitigation strategies, and the effectiveness of implemented measures.

• Develop and maintain the Business Continuity Management (BCM) framework and Ensure alignment with ISO 22301 or relevant standards.

• Coordinate with IT and Cybersecurity teams for Backup and failover systems

• Planning and coordinating regular drills simulations, and exercises to test the effectiveness of the BCP

• Identifying areas for improvement based on tests, incidents and industry best practices, ensuring the plan is regularly reviewed and updated.

• Coordinating risk assessments and risk register to identify potentials threats to business

• Facilitate Business Continuity Management System Certification audits
