About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate candidate to Installing, configuring, maintaining and evaluating Zain Infrastructure, operating systems, software, and hardware, as well as conducting necessary preventive and corrective maintenance, and recommending replacements, modifications, and upgrades accordingly.

Main Responsibilities, will include but will not be limited to:

  • Providing full administration and support to all Infrastructure Systems/Applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, SCCM, Zabbix, office365, Proxy, etc.

  • Maintaining software vendor’s products, contracts, agreements, and support services and conducting periodic license renewals for existing software packages to ensure validity and minimize disruptions

  • Maintaining Zain’s Linux platforms, virtualization environment, Kubernetes Platform, Cloud infrastructure and data centers in terms of availability, integrity, operability, and normal functionality.

  • Administering employees’ accounts through handling activities such as adding new accounts, removing accounts, access permission, resetting passwords, etc.

  • Developing and programming scripts and points of integration to simplify administrational and provisional matters such as creating and removing accounts, managing access, monitoring security, etc.

  • Troubleshooting server and computer systems issues and malfunctions in different departments and resolving any other relevant operational difficulties as well as creating server backups and restorations

  • Designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools.

  • Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing and deployments, ensuring fast and reliable code delivery

  • Configuration and environment management by using tools like Ansible for configuration management, maintaining consistency across development, staging, and production environments.

  • Containerization and orchestration by deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications; troubleshooting related issues in production

  • Monitoring infrastructure health and pipeline performance using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack, and handling alerts and participating in on-call rotations.

  • Implement DevSecOps best practices, manage access controls and secrets, and collaborate with security teams on audits and policy enforcement.

What We Need From You

To be shortlisted for this position, you will need to comply with all of the below requirements:

  • Holds a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or any related field

  • Preferred: 2 years of relevant experience.
