About the Role
The Enterprise App & Software Management is responsible for supporting the Enterprise App & Software Management Senior in managing all Zain enterprise business applications alongside the administration, installation, configuration, upgrade and migration as well as to participate in platform backup, recovery and health checks.
Responsibilities:
Perform daily health checks on platforms to ensure platform availability and performance.
Resolve platform operations problems where necessary to ensure 24/7 availability with optimal performance of all platform. Provide 2nd line support for all platforms including 24/7 on-call support when needed.
Document and log all updates, manuals and reports and ensure that full understanding and adherence to Quality standards.
Perform platform installations and migration and create necessary programs and scripts in order to automate operations.
Perform platform integrations and ensure proper communication among multiple platforms
Learn Zain’s suite of enterprise business applications, including understanding their interrelationship and dependencies
Work with vendors to maintain and support these applications, perform upgrades and implement new features as released
Perform top-level troubleshooting of technical issues related to application functionality
Track and follow issues through to resolution, including communications to all stakeholders
Support in identifying and considering internal technical needs of Zain with the goal of providing quality solutions in order to provide the highest possible service
Configure, execute, test and implement enterprise app and software solutions
Develop documentation related to design, configuration, processes/workflow, integration/interface requirements and training
Develop relationships with business units, external consultants and vendors
Perform all the above-mentioned roles and responsibilities in compliance to the Information Security Management System (ISMS) policies and report any information/physical security breaches or incidents to the supervisor/manager immediately
Be aware of, and adhere to, all environmental requirements as set by the statutory bodies in Kuwait, or by the published policies of Zain Group/Kuwait
Zain abides by fulfilling the occupational health and safety certificate requirements that establishes and maintains an OH&S management system that eliminate hazards and minimizes OH&S risks (including system deficiencies), take advantage of OH&S opportunities and addresses OH&S management system nonconformities associated with its activities

Skills:
Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Proficiency in agile methodologies
Knowledgeable of mobile and network infrastructure
Knowledge of support processes specific to the telecom industry
Experience in maintenance, support, configuration, or implementation of business applications
Interest and ability to learn new business applications and related capabilities as required
Understanding of cloud computing and cloud based application services
Advanced Microsoft Office toolkit (Excel, pptx)
Proficiency in programming
Ability to communicate and translate technical solutions to internal stakeholders across the company
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify and frame key issues
Excellent interpersonal organizational and project management skills
Great people management skills and knowledge
High reliability in executing tasks within expected timeframe and to expected quality standards
