Job Title:                                            Shop Supervisor

Reports to:                                         Retail Team Leader

Job Purpose:

  • Manage the end-to-end retail shop activities of selling, collection and customer service in compliance with Zain retail strategy and process to maintain the sales standards and achieve sales targets.

Key Tasks/Accountabilities:                                                                                              

  • To improve the commercial performance of the store by increasing its turnover and maximizing profitability

  • Meet and exceed the monthly targets sales.

  • Implement initiatives and directives from Retail Management at retail shop level

  • Create awareness of Zain products and services in community, proactively work on marketing and sales plans in alignment with Retail Management

  • Report store performance, progress and issues

  • Ensure the product and service knowledge of staff meet standards

  • Forecast and manage staffing requirements through schedules to meet customer service levels

  • Implement and follow policies and procedures for retail, as defined by Retail Management

  • Oversee and manage daily operational activities of the retail shop with daily reconciliation.

  • Supervise sales and collection activities carried out in the retail shop

  • Managing and motivating a team to increase sales and ensure efficiency

  • Give daily briefs to retail shop employees to communicate messages from Retail Management.

  • Managing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control.

  • Analyzing sales figures and forecasting future sales volumes to maximise profits.

  • Dealing with staffing issues: interviewing potential staff; conducting appraisals and performance reviews; and providing or organising training and development.

  • Monitor time keeping, attendance levels during periods of absence.

  • Deal with disciplinary matters in an effective and appropriate manner.

  • Manage inventory and cash within the store.

  • Perform sales forecasting and issue stock order requests (including merchandising products)

  • Organise and control stock takes and cycle counts.

  • Coordinate cash collection on daily basis.

  • Maintain transaction and inventory records; discover, address and report discrepancies.

  • Manage the store facility and dealing with the stakeholders.

  • Ensure store compliance with Zain image and brand guidelines through floor walk checklist and merchandising tools.

  • Prepare and send daily and weekly reports to franchise shops Team leader.

  • Report all the store and stock management issues to the Franchisee and the franchise shops Team leader.

    Job Tile: Profiling Specialist
    Reports to: CVM & Customers Analytics Manager
    Job Purpose:
    Analyze all sources of product and customer primary and secondary data to ensure
    right customer in the right segment and come up with recommendation to improve the commercial performance.

    Key Tasks/Accountabilitie:

  1. Extract seen and analyze Zain Customers behavior and commercial
    performance for all segments from primary and secondary data in term of
    price per unit “PPM, PPSMS, PPMB,..etc.” And highlight gabs and
    recommendation to enhance Zain performance.

  2. Generate the required reports from separate data mart for all segment
    related data or extracting the required data from the data ware-house and EDCH system and other related systems.

  3. Providing the required data and reports to Marketing team to support in
    business case development and validation of product/service after launch
    analysis/segment.

  4. Execute/develop new tools/offers to profile segments to improve overall
    revenue KPI as per the product life cycle process.

  5. Providing Ad-Hoc reports and data for marketing team per segment nature
    and report template to support market customer's behavior.

  6. Manage customer profiling process from data extraction data analysis
    profiling and Migration and post migration process with all concerned
    departments.

  7. Constantly developing customer profiling criteria by studying and analyzing
    primary and secondary data of each product segment,

  8. Constantly develop sales commission criteria to validate sales products and
    reward them with sales commission for selling right product to right
    customer.

  9. Develop and manage a tool to flag and profile customers to assigned
    segment and measure the performance.

  10. Monitor and manage the marketing segments after flagging and closely monitor migration of customers between all assigned segments to ensure efficiency of business.

  11. Develops processes, procedures, activities and systems for accurate
    Segmental

  12. Provide reports and analysis on segment outcome (monthly/yearly) and
    ‘come up with recommendations pro-actively to map customers according
    to the right segment

  13. Drive and work with cross-functional units and departments to ensure all
    ‘recommendations are planned and being worked upon in order to meet
    daily/monthiy/yearly Kr’ for the segments

  14. Manage and implement al stratepic segments initiatives as highlighted in annual strategy.

  15. Responsible for the security, Confidentiality & integrity, of al information
    assets within his/her responsibilities in accordance with the company/s
    Information Security Policies

What We Need From You?

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Qualifications/Experience:

                               

  • Educated to university degree.

  • Zain Telecommunications background desirable.

  • Relevant Professional Business qualification is mandatory.

  • Minimum 2 years previous experience of an administrative role in a private sector organisation is mandatory.

  • Ability to communicate in Arabic and English is mandatory.

Knowledge:

  • Broad understanding of all stages of the Zain Telecoms. Business process of the daily sales procedures and issues complaints.

  • Good understanding of the Sudan market and Zain business strategy, goals and competitive environment.

  • Understanding of budgetary and resource management and control policies and processes.

  • Good understanding of best practice Change Management processes and methodologies.

  • Understanding of the relevant regulatory, legal and other contextual factors impacting on the successful management of projects within the Sudan market.
