Role Purpose
Zain Iraq is Actively recruiting to hire a Head of Consumer Segments Unit who is responsible for developing and executing segment-specific strategies that drive growth, engagement, and loyalty among Zain Iraq's customer base. The role focuses on identifying, analyzing, and managing targeted customer segments to improve product fit, value propositions, and overall customer experience, aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for various consumer segments (e.g., youth, mass market, high-value customers).
Utilize customer insights and market data to identify opportunities for growth and retention within each segment.
Define clear value propositions and positioning for each segment, ensuring alignment with Zain Iraq's brand and business objectives.
Conduct in-depth analysis of customer behavior, preferences, and feedback to inform segment strategies.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as ARPU, churn rates, and customer satisfaction scores for each segment.
Collaborate with the analytics team to develop predictive models and segmentation frameworks.
Design and launch tailored propositions, offers, and campaigns for each segment.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Product Development, Pricing, Sales, Digital, Brands) to ensure effective GTM execution.
Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of segment-specific products and services.
Regularly review products’ performance against targets, identifying areas for improvement.
Prepare and present performance reports to senior management, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
Adjust strategies and tactics based on performance data and market dynamics.
Work closely with internal stakeholders, including Sales, Customer Care, Digital, and Finance, to ensure cohesive execution of segment strategies.
Engage with external partners and vendors as needed to support segment initiatives.
Foster a collaborative environment to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
Identify, evaluate, and manage strategic partnerships with local and regional organizations to enhance segment offerings.
Ensure partnership initiatives align with segment goals and contribute to customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
Educational Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
+5 years of experience on segment management or marketing strategy.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful segment strategies.
Strong analytical skills with experience in customer segmentation and data-driven decision-making.
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English. Proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
