Role Purpose
Zain Iraq is Actively recruiting to hire a Senior Product Designer -Digital platform who is responsible for translating the product vision and business priorities defined by the Product Owner into clear, actionable design specifications for digital products and features. This role involves defining user stories, acceptance criteria and development metrics. The Product Designer is expected to collaborate with the Technology teams to assess design feasibility and align over business priorities to meet previously defined usage metrics.
Responsibilities
Translate business priorities and product vision provided by the Product Owner into detailed product requirements and user stories
Define product features through comprehensive user stories, clearly outlining functional and technical requirements
Collaborate closely with the Product Owner to clarify business goals and define success metrics for product features
Develop detailed acceptance criteria to ensure alignment between development efforts and strategic objectives
Create and maintain accurate and user-friendly design documentation to guide the Experience Designer and overall product implementation
Collaborate with Tech teams to assess feature design feasibility and align over business requirements
Partner with the Product Owner to gather and analyze stakeholder requirements, translating them into clear, actionable user stories
Coordinate with the Experience Designer to ensure that user journeys and interface designs align with product requirements
Prioritize product backlog items to optimize development velocity and feature implementation
Collaborate with Agile team to ensure continuous alignment and clarity of deliverables
Evaluate individual feature metrics (feature usage, adoption rates) to inform iterative improvements
Collaborate with Business Analyst to identify and proactively resolve product issues based on real-time data analysis and user feedback
Work with the Quality Lead to ensure testing outcomes and defect rates are aligned with product goals
Collaborate closely with technical, marketing, experience design, and customer support teams to deliver consistent product experiences
Present product updates, feature performance results, and strategic recommendations clearly to stakeholders
Facilitate clear communication between business stakeholders and development teams to ensure alignment
Education, Experience and Competencies
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Product Management, Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline
Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in product design, product management, digital product development, or similar roles.
Proven ability to define, document, and prioritize product features based on user and business needs.
Demonstrated expertise in Agile methodology, user story creation, acceptance criteria definition, and feature performance analysis
Skills
Expertise in defining user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications
Proficiency in Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum and Kanban)
Familiarity with product development tools (JIRA, Confluence, Trello, Azure DevOps)
Ability to analyze feature performance data
