Role Purpose
Zain Iraq is actively recruiting to hire a Senior Product Owner – Mobile Apps (Self-Care App)The Self-Care App Product Owner is responsible for defining and overseeing the strategic development roadmap for Zain IQ’s Self-Care App. This role involves prioritizing app features, managing the product backlog, and driving the successful launch and adoption of new features. The Self-Care App Product Owner is accountable for ensuring that product development aligns with business goals and customer needs, while optimizing engagement and monetization. This position requires close collaboration with the Experience Designer, Product Designer, Quality Lead to ensure that product decisions are data-driven and user-centric. The Self-Care App Product Owner will also track Self-Care App performance, implement continuous improvements, and maximize impact on business KPIs.
Responsibilities
Define and maintain the feature roadmap based on business objectives, market trends, and user feedback
Prioritize Self-Care App features based on business impact, customer value, and technical feasibility
Align Self-Care App strategy with overall strategic objectives
Manage the product backlog and ensure that development teams are focused on the highest-value and priority features
Continuously evaluate product-market fit and adjust the roadmap based on customer feedback
Set clear product goals and success metrics to measure feature performance
Ensure that product milestones are communicated clearly to stakeholders and delivery teams
Lead the translation of business objectives into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria
Work closely with the Product Designer to refine feature requirements and ensure alignment with user needs
Coordinate with the Experience Designer to ensure that product features deliver an intuitive and engaging UI/UX
Collaborate with the Quality Lead to define clear acceptance criteria and ensure product features meet quality standards
Manage cross-functional teams (development, design, and QA) to ensure timely and successful feature delivery
Track feature development progress and resolve any blockers to maintain delivery timelines
Ensure new features are properly documented and communicated to customer support and marketing teams
Own the product launch process and ensure that all teams (development, marketing, customer support) are aligned
Define go-to-market strategies for new features, including user communication and onboarding plans
Monitor feature adoption and user engagement post-launch to measure success
Establish feedback loops to gather user insights and refine product features accordingly
Lead product retrospectives to analyze performance and inform future improvements
Identify opportunities to increase user engagement and feature usage
Collaborate with the Experience Designer to improve product usability
Monitor revenue performance and adjust product strategy to maximize monetization
Implement data-driven improvements based on user behavior and market feedback
Optimize in-app purchases and subscription models to increase revenue per user
Identify and act on user behavior patterns to improve retention and lifetime value
Act as the primary point of contact for Self-Care App related decisions and updates
Collaborate with the Experience Designer to align product functionality with user behavior insights
Support the Quality Lead in ensuring that app releases meet technical and business requirements
Communicate product strategy and performance to senior leadership and key stakeholders
Facilitate cross-team alignment to ensure consistent understanding of product goals and milestones
Education, Experience and Competencies
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Product Management, Business, Computer Science, or related discipline
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, product development, or a related field
Proven track record of managing product roadmaps and driving successful product launches
Experience working with Agile development teams and managing product backlogs
Experience collaborating with UX, design, development, and marketing teams to deliver successful products
Strong background in defining and measuring app success metrics
Experience in driving app monetization and user engagement strategies
Skills
