Role Purpose
Zain Iraq is actively recruiting to hire Merchants Management Senior Specialist Basrah, responsible for sourcing, onboarding, and managing merchant partners for Zain’s loyalty program. The employee will drive acquisition efforts and maintain strong relationships with merchants to ensure a rich and attractive loyalty offering.
Key Accountabilities
Identify, approach, and negotiate with potential merchant partners.
Support contract execution and onboarding processes for new merchants.
Manage day-to-day relationships with assigned merchants to ensure satisfaction and active participation in the loyalty program.
Track merchant performance (e.g., redemption rates, customer feedback) and recommend improvement actions.
Coordinate marketing activities and promotions with merchants.
Ensure merchant compliance with loyalty program terms and Zain brand guidelines.
Ensure Mystery shoppers on regular basis with each merchant.
Education, Experience and Competencies
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, sales or a related field.
Experience
2–4 years of experience in sales, partnerships, business development, or account management.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.
