Job Title:                          Digital services specialist 

Reports to:                           E-Services and Integrated Solutions Team Leader

 

 

Job Purpose:

The E-Services and Integrated Solutions Specialist is responsible for, product development, and product management of Zain’s non-mobile products, E-services, Non-mobile and SaaS services. The role involves ideation, development, pricing and go-to-market strategies for these products, ensuring they meet customer needs and align with Zain’s strategic goals. The specialist will work closely with the E-Services and Integrated Solutions Team Leader to drive market adoption, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth

 

Key Tasks/Accountabilities:

 

  1. Product Ideation & Development:

    • Lead the ideation and conceptualization of existing and new E-Services, SaaS services and non-mobile products, based on market research, customer insights and presales/sales feedback and requests.

    • Collaborate with the Team Leader and presales/sales teams to define product requirements, features, and functionalities.

    • Ensure the development of solutions that align with Zain’s strategic goals and market demands.

  2. Marketing Strategy & Go-to-Market Planning:

    • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies for new and existing SaaS, E-services and non-mobile products.

    • Create go-to-market plans, including pricing, positioning, and promotional activities.

    • Collaborate with the marketing branding team to develop marketing materials, campaigns, and digital content to drive product awareness and adoption.

  3. Product Lifecycle Management:

    • Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to post-launch, ensuring timely delivery and successful market penetration.

    • Monitor product performance post-launch, analyzing key metrics such as revenue, customer adoption, and satisfaction.

    • Implement product improvements and updates based on customer feedback and market trends.

  1. Customer Engagement & Market Research:

    • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive offerings.

    • Engage with customers to gather feedback and insights, ensuring the development of solutions that meet their needs.

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, acting as a trusted advisor for Zain’s E-services, SaaS services, and non-mobile products.

  2. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Work closely with the presales, sales, and technical support teams to ensure alignment on product offerings and go-to-market strategies.

    • Collaborate with external vendors and partners to deliver integrated solutions to customers.

    • Coordinate with the finance team to develop business cases and financial models for new products.

  3. Reporting & Performance Measurement:

    • Provide detailed reports on product development, marketing activities, and performance metrics.

    • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue growth, customer adoption, and market share.

    • Assist in implementing action plans to address performance gaps and drive continuous improvement.

  4. Compliance & Best Practices:

    • Ensure compliance with all applicable policies and regulatory requirements in information security.

    • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies to ensure Zain’s E-services and SaaS solutions remain competitive.

What We Need From You

Person Specification:

Qualifications/Experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, IT, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., Product Management, Digital Marketing) is a plus.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in product management, marketing, or a related field, preferably in the telecommunications or IT industry.

  • Proven experience with SaaS services, E-services, and non-mobile products.

  • Strong understanding of the B2B market and corporate customer needs.
