About the Role

Job Title:                                        Pricing &Profitability Specialist

Reports to:                                   Pricing Manager

 

 

Job Purpose:

To coordinate/manage all related pricing elements to keep Zain PRODUCT AND SERVICES portfolio prices aligned internally and competitive externally. By analysing the P&S and customer behaviour data and coming up with recommendations and follow with implementation

 

Key Task/Accountabilities:

 

 

 

  1. Manage all pricing elements for all commercial offers and ensure maintaining a balanced scheme.

  2. Manage Pricing models and tools such as Heat map, pricing tools, and make sure its updated with all Zain and competition offers and prices.

  3. Continuously monitor competitor prices and offers and analyze market competitiveness of Zain packages/promos/offers, analyze its impact on Zain PRODUCT AND SERVICES business cases.  and report back recommendations.

  4. Track Products cost items and the profitability for all PRODUCT AND SERVICES portfolio

  5. Responsible for all costing validations against provided business cases & also required to communicate related costs to concerned departments (i.e. acquisition cost, PR/communication cost, .. etc)

  6. Validating PRODUCT AND SERVICES business cases to make sure its aligned internally , competitive externally and profitable.

  7. Revise& coordinate scenarios of tariff reduction/increase/etc with concerned departments

  8. Review all products cost and revenue to ensure the products and services profitability and positive contribution to Zain Sudan EBITDA margin

  9. Analyze all customers life time value and come up with recommendation to improve the customers value

  10. Manage and implement all pricing strategic initiatives as highlighted in annual strategic plan.

  11. Execute/develop new initiatives to address un-tapped segment to improve overall revenue KPI as per the product life cycle process.

  12. Drive and work with cross-functional units and departments to ensure all recommendations are planned and being worked upon in order to meet daily/monthly/yearly KPI’s

  13. Responsible for the security, Confidentiality & Integrity, of all information assets within his/her responsibilities in accordance with the company’s Information Security Policies.

What We Need From You

PERSON SPECIFICATION

 

Qualifications/Experience:

  • B.Sc in Economics, Business administration, IT  or relevant field.

  • 2 years commercial experience in relevant industry.

  • Relevant professional Marketing/Business qualification essential

  • Project management knowledge.

  • Microsoft Office knowledge , with advanced excel and access knowledge

  • Ability to speak and write Arabic and English essential

 

Knowledge:

  • In-depth understanding of the Sudan market and Zain business strategy, goals and competitive environment

  • understanding of Zain information requirements

  • understanding of Zain direct/indirect competitors

  • Willingness to learn and adapt quick to the fast rhythm of industry development
