Job Title:                            Cloud and E-Services & integrated Solutions Manager

  1. Job Purpose:

    The Cloud and E-Services Manager is responsible for leading and managing the Cloud Team and the E-Services and Integrated Solutions Team, ensuring the successful delivery of Zain’s cloud services (including Zain’s own cloud and reseller partnerships with Alibaba Cloud, AWS, and Oracle) and e-services (SaaS, IoT, and other non-telecom products). The role requires deep expertise in cloud technologies, strategic leadership, and the ability to drive innovation and customer satisfaction across both teams. The manager will oversee product development, presales support, marketing, and after-sales activities, ensuring alignment with Zain’s strategic goals.

     

     

    Key Tasks/Accountabilities:

     

    1. Team Leadership & Development:

    • Lead, mentor, and develop the Cloud Team and E-Services and Integrated Solutions Team, ensuring they are aligned with Zain’s strategic goals.

    • Set clear performance targets for both teams and conduct regular performance reviews.

    • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the teams.

  2. Cloud Services Management:

    • Oversee the development, delivery, and support of Zain’s cloud services, including Zain’s own cloud and reseller partnerships (Alibaba Cloud, AWS, Oracle).

    • Act as the technical expert on cloud technologies, providing guidance and support to the Cloud Team and other stakeholders.

    • Collaborate with cloud providers to develop joint solutions and go-to-market strategies.

  3. E-Services & Integrated Solutions Management:

    • Oversee the development and delivery of e-services (SaaS, IoT, and other non-telecom products), ensuring they meet customer needs and market demands.

    • Work closely with the E-Services and Integrated Solutions Team to drive product innovation and market adoption.

    • Ensure seamless integration between cloud services and e-services to deliver comprehensive solutions to customers.

  4. Presales & Marketing Support:

    • Collaborate with the presales and sales teams to develop tailored solutions and go-to-market strategies for cloud and e-services.

    • Ensure the teams provide high-quality technical proposals, presentations, and demonstrations to support the sales process.

    • Drive marketing initiatives to promote cloud and e-services, ensuring market awareness and adoption.

  5. Customer Engagement & Satisfaction:

    • Act as the escalation point for complex customer issues, ensuring effective communication and resolution.

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key corporate clients, understanding their needs and ensuring Zain’s solutions deliver value.

    • Monitor customer satisfaction metrics and implement initiatives to improve the overall customer experience.

  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Work closely with sales, product management, technical support, and marketing teams to ensure alignment on product offerings and go-to-market strategies.

    • Coordinate with external vendors and partners to deliver integrated solutions to customers.

  7. Reporting & Performance Measurement:

    • Provide detailed reports on cloud and e-services activities, including customer engagement, solution proposals, issue resolution, and performance metrics.

    • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as win rates, customer satisfaction, and revenue contribution.

Person Specification:

Qualifications/Experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecom Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Alibaba Cloud Expert) is a plus.

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in cloud services & product management,  field, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

  • Proven experience with cloud platforms (Zain’s own cloud, Alibaba Cloud, AWS, Oracle) and e-services (SaaS, IoT, etc.).

  • Strong understanding of the B2B market and corporate customer needs.

  • Experience in leading and developing high-performing teams.
