About the Role

We are currently looking for a fresh graduate to join the Engineering Department on a one-year internship contract under the Generation Z25 - Zain Youth Program, who is willing to go the extra mile, someone who will exceed expectations, proactively foster effective teamwork, and who will eventually become a leader at Zain. Our mission is to prepare the leaders of tomorrow, today.

Job tasks and responsibilities:

  • Customer Experience & Service Optimization: Analyze customer complaints to identify recurring broadband and smart home connectivity issues, while monitoring service quality metrics (latency, jitter, packet loss) to proactively resolve problems. Additionally, develop AI-based optimization models using machine learning to improve service quality and prevent customer escalation.

  • Proactive Network Optimization & AI Integration: Support the deployment of Premium Broadband  and smart home automation tools, while analyzing traffic logs, speed test results, and IoT device behavior to predict service degradation. Implement automation to enhance network performance monitoring and proactively optimize the network.

  • Smart Home & IoT Solutions Development: Support Wi-Fi optimization for seamless integration of smart home devices, analyze customer device connectivity trends to develop solutions for an enhanced user experience, and assist in the deployment of IoT devices, smart sensors, security systems, and AI-powered automation.

  • Workforce Management & Reporting: Utilize the Workforce Management System (WFM) to track broadband and smart home activation progress, and generate weekly reports on customer experience, complaint resolution, and network performance.

  • Studying customer satisfaction report monthly, justifying customer feedback, analyzing feedback, specifying root causes, and solving similar issues, to make sure that customer satisfaction rates are met monthly. In addition, the outputs shall be raised in an official letter that will be sent for the contractors for evaluation and penalization.

 

What We Need From You

Bachelor’s degree in: Telecommunication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, AI, or a related field.
