Role Purpose

Zain Iraq is actively recruiting to hire a Copywriter in the Branding and Communication Department. The person at this level is responsible for developing compelling and engaging content across multiple channels, ensuring brand consistency and messaging alignment. They will craft high-quality copy for marketing campaigns, social media, digital platforms, and corporate communications, while collaborating with internal teams to create impactful storytelling that enhances Zain’s brand identity.

Responsibilities
  • Create, develop, and refine marketing and brand communication materials, including advertisements, social media content, website copy, press releases, and promotional campaigns.

  • Ensure brand consistency across all written content and marketing channels.

  • Develop creative and persuasive messaging tailored to different audiences, aligned with business goals.

  • Work closely with graphic designers, marketing teams, and stakeholders to develop integrated campaigns.

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to ensure effective and relevant messaging.

  • Optimize digital content for SEO and audience engagement.

  • Proofread, edit, and refine copy to maintain a high standard of quality.

  • Adapt writing tone and style to fit various platforms, from corporate communication to social media trends.

  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, consumer behavior, and digital marketing best practices.

  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills in Arabic and English.

  • Ability to develop engaging social media and advertising copy.

  • Experience working with brand guidelines and messaging frameworks.

  • Proficiency in using content management systems and creative tools.

Education, Experience, and Competencies

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in copywriting, content creation, or marketing communications.
