About the Role

We are looking for a fresh graduate to join the Technology and Digital Innovation Department for a one-year internship contract under Zain Youth Program.

Job tasks and responsibilities:

• Receiving and reviewing end-users’ inquiries and technical support requests as well as advising, recommending and providing professional solutions related to software, hardware or network systems over the phone, email or in-person and in a timely and accurate manner.

• Modifying and installing basic computer software and hardware on employees’ computers and ensuring they are periodically updated, as well as providing required training and technical assistance.

• Configuring user workstations, as well as integrating them with the existing servers, as well as ensuring proper network connectivity in different sites and branches through conducting periodical network maintenance.

What We Need From You

A bachelor's degree in: Information Technology or any related field.

• Effective Communication & Patience: Handling frustrated users and complex problems with clarity and composure.

• Adaptability: Quickly learning new tools and technologies while adjusting to evolving work environments.

• Collaboration & Teamwork: Working seamlessly with IT staff and other departments to resolve issues efficiently.

Technical Skills:

• Hardware & Software Troubleshooting: Skilled in diagnosing and resolving issues related to computer hardware, software, and peripherals.

• Operating Systems: Proficient in Windows and macOS, with a strong understanding of system functionalities.

• Networking: Knowledgeable in fundamental networking concepts, including IP addressing, routers, switches, VPNs, DNS, and DHCP.
