Role Purpose

Zain Iraq is Actively recruiting to hire a Head of Digital Product Unit to lead the strategy, development, and growth of our digital products. The ideal candidate will drive product innovation, optimize user experiences, and collaborate across teams to ensure seamless execution and market success.

Key Accountabilities
  • Define and enhance product features based on customer feedback, app performance, and competitive analysis.

  • Develop and implement strategies to increase app adoption, working closely with digital marketing teams.

  • Track key product KPIs (downloads, DAU/MAU, funnel performance) and optimize user journeys.

  • Conduct A/B testing, usability lab sessions, and ensure high-level QA testing for new features.

  • Oversee the product lifecycle, including market research, competitor analysis, roadmap development, and product launches.

  • Translate business objectives into detailed product requirements for the development team.

  • Develop business cases, technical requirements, and revenue strategies to drive product growth.

  • Collaborate with engineering, QA, and cross-functional teams to align product goals with organizational objectives.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, advocate for best practices, and mentor junior team members.

Educational Qualifications and Experience

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.

Experience

  • 4+ years of experience in product management or digital product development.

  • Strong analytical skills, with expertise in market data analysis and competitive research.

  • Experience with user journey optimization, AARRR funnel tracking, and KPI analysis.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience in the telecommunications industry is a plus.
