Job Title: Incident Management & BCM Specialist
Reports to: Risk Management & business continuity Team leader
Job Purpose
Incident management specialist aims to provide support to restore normal service operation as quickly as possible and minimize the adverse effect on business operations, with the least possible impact on either the business or the user, at a cost-effective price thus ensuring that the best possible levels of service quality and availability are maintained.
The “Incident Management & Controls Specialist” which designated to provide an effective way of computer security events and incidents management. It implies end-to-end management for controlling or directing how security events and incidents should be handled.
Key Tasks/Accountabilities
Incident detection and recording
Classification and initial support
Investigation, analysis and diagnosis
Resolution and recovery
Incident closure
Incident ownership, monitoring, tracking and communication
Establish incident framework management
Evaluation incident framework management
Development and maintenance of incident management plans.
Management of incident SLA's.
Management of incident priorities.
Incidents that cannot be resolved quickly by the help desk will be assigned to specialist technical support groups. A resolution or work-around should be established as quickly as possible in order to restore the service.
Handling major incidents up to the closure
Incident to Problem evaluation and escalation.
Analysis of incidents in the overall aspects.
Typical Performance Measures:
Handling information security incidents effectively and efficiently.
Toot cause analysis of the incidents.
Depth of incident Analysis.
Quality of analysis and the delivered incident report.
Dimensions:
Working with all functions at all levels.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Qualifications/Experience:
Experience in working in the field of information security.
Experience in gathering and analysing technical information.
Knowledge:
Good knowledge of log management tools.
Good knowledge of computer forensic.
Good knowledge of the latest cyber security incidents.
Good knowledge of Network GSM.
Skills: Good communication Skills at all levels, analysis, report writing.
