Role Purpose

Zain Iraq is Actively recruiting to hire Radio Planning and Optimization Expert who is responsible for assisting in the planning and implementing of Network Planning, Roll-Out and Operations activities while providing coaching and guidance to subordinates.

Key Accountabilities

• Understand and participate in the development of Network Planning, Roll-Out and Operations Strategies and plans and participate in the achievement of objectives and targets

• Implement and suggest improvements to the Network Planning, Rollo-Out and Operations policies and procedures

• Review periodic reports submitted by subordinates and provide feedback and recommendations for improvements

• Plan, organize and prioritise workloads to ensure efficient use of resources and timely completion of tasks

• Keep abreast of the latest networking technologies and ensure subordinates are aware of the same

• Carry out assigned activities in specified areas as instructed by the Head of Technology Departments and Units and with minimal direct supervision

• Supervise and coach team members to ensure optimal performance is achieved and provide improvement recommendations as required

• Contribute to the effective achievement of Departmental objectives through following up on individual objectives, performance reviews, formal and informal feedback and appraisals to maximize subordinate and Department performance

• Assist in the consolidation of regional and district demand data to ensure the preservation of master data

• Assist in radio network planning (2G ,3G &4G) including resource planning

• Implement the Transport (voice and data) in line with the Technology Strategy

• New Sites survey.

• New Sites database creation.

• Site design for the new sites and Re-design for on-air sites (antenna,

• location, tilt, Azimuth & configuration planning)

• Plan/recommend new sites based on technical inputs.

• Monitor/ improve network coverage through vDT tools & Drive Test.

• Network Capacity Monitoring & evaluation

Education, Experience and Competencies

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science-related field or equivalent

Experience

• A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience with at least 2 years in a similar role

• Have Huawei & Nokia Vendor Experience
