Role Purpose

Zain Iraq is Recruiting a Facility Capital Projects Architect Engineer who is required to support the architectural team within the Capital Projects Unit in designing and developing innovative, sustainable, and functional spaces. This role involves contributing to all phases of the architectural process, from concept design to project delivery, while ensuring compliance with project specifications, and timelines, this role requires the applicants to have mastered the skill of Architectural Engineers software mainly the Autodesk Revit. 

Key Accountabilities

• Collaborate in the creation of architectural designs, concepts, and layouts tailored to meet the needs of Facility Capital Projects.

• Develop comprehensive and precise drawings, blueprints, and 3D models using advanced design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp to support project visualization and planning.

• Contribute to the preparation of compelling presentations and design boards, effectively communicating ideas to clients and stakeholders.

• Partner with senior architects, engineers, and cross-functional teams within Zain Iraq to refine and align project designs with organizational objectives.

• Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, including detailed specifications, material schedules, and project deliverables.

• Ensure all project designs and executions comply with local building codes, zoning regulations, and safety standards, upholding the highest quality and legal requirements.

• Conduct regular site visits to oversee construction progress, ensuring strict adherence to approved architectural designs and project plans.

• Document on-site conditions, challenges, and observations, compiling detailed reports for evaluation and action by senior architects and project managers.

• Stay at the forefront of architectural trends, emerging building materials, and state-of-the-art technologies to integrate innovative solutions into projects.

• Perform in-depth research to identify and implement sustainable design practices, promoting energy efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and environmental stewardship in facility development projects.

Education, Experience & Skills

Educational Qualifications       

• A bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering is required.

Required Skills :

• Proficiency in architectural software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite).

• Strong visualization and creative problem-solving abilities.

• Basic knowledge of construction materials and methods.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
