Job Title: Commercial Strategy & Business Plan Specialist
Reports to: Strategic Planning Team Leader
Job Purpose:
This role is pivotal in developing a comprehensive five-year business plan by analyzing market trends from various sources, including governmental and international reports. The specialist will coordinate with Commercial Strategy and Market Research teams to leverage existing data, formalize the business plan, and provide essential data and insights to commercial departments as needed.
Key Accountabilities and Tasks:
Five-Year Business Plan Development: Formulate a detailed five-year business plan that aligns with the company’s strategic objectives. Utilize market trends, governmental sources, and international reports to inform and shape the plan.
Market Trend Analysis: Analyze market trends and industry data from various sources to provide a robust foundation for the business plan. Stay updated on industry developments and regulatory changes that could impact the company.
Coordination with Teams: Collaborate with Commercial Strategy and Market Research teams to access and utilize existing data sources. Ensure integration of relevant insights and data into the business planning process.
Data Formalization: Formalize the five-year business plan, ensuring it is well-documented and aligns with the company’s strategic goals. Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate the plan to key stakeholders.
Data Provision: Provide necessary data and insights based on the five-year forecast to commercial departments, including Sales, Marketing, and Customer Care. Support these departments in leveraging the business plan for strategic decision-making.
Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and present regular updates on the progress of the business plan, including key metrics and performance indicators. Document planning processes and maintain clear records of data sources and methodologies.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance the business planning process and integrate new data sources or analytical methods. Implement best practices to improve the accuracy and effectiveness of strategic planning.

Accuracy of Business Plan: Precision and correctness of the five-year business plan, measured by alignment with actual business performance and market conditions.
Timeliness of Deliverables: Adherence to deadlines for delivering business plan drafts, updates, and reports.
Effectiveness of Forecasting: Accuracy of forecasts for commercial revenue lines, subscriber base, and other key metrics.
Stakeholder Satisfaction: Feedback and satisfaction levels from stakeholders regarding the utility and clarity of the business plan and related data.
Data Integration: Effectiveness in integrating data from various sources and coordinating with commercial departments to utilize the business plan.

Qualifications/Experience:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Strategic Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certification is advantageous.
Experience: Minimum of [2-3] years of experience in commercial strategy, business planning, or a related role, preferably within the telecom industry.
