About the Role

Department/Section: Market research     

Job Title: Market Trends Analysis Specialist                            

Reports to: Industry analysis Team Leader                            

 

Job Purpose:        

Concentrates on market and industry trends, tracking competitive intelligence and forecasting developments to maintain a competitive edge

 

Key Accountabilities and Tasks:

  • Gather data from various sources, including local and international market reports, industry publications, and proprietary databases. 

  • Develop detailed reports from international resources reflecting main indicators that affect industry market and share it with stakeholders.

  • Utilize advanced analytical tools and methodologies to forecast industry trends and provide actionable insights to guide business strategies.

  • Conduct comprehensive research on industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and threats.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate market insights into strategic planning and decision-making processes.

  • Stay updated on industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices to maintain expertise and provide thought leadership

 

Typical Performance Measures:

  • Accuracy of data used.

  • Quality & effectiveness of analysis, and presentation.

  • Proposed action points follow up and implementation.

  • Results achieved against requested.

  • On-time delivery for reports/ Analysis

 

 

Dimensions:

  • Reports to Market Research Manager

  • Will have a leading role in providing reports for market trends and its impact on the company.

 


What We Need From You

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in research or market research, preferably within the telecom industry.
