Job Title: Business Process Automation Specialist

Reports to: Business Excellence Manager

 

Job Purpose:

To implement & maintain process automation projects (including Workflow Automation & Robotic Process Automation (RPA)). And to design, collect, and maintain processes procedures and record of the department’s activities by the analysis, design, and implementation of best business practices and compliance of ISO standards, company policies & regulations.

 

Key Tasks/Accountabilities

 

  1. Collaborate with business end users to assess business processes and identify opportunities for process automation that increases efficiencies and reduces operational risk.

  2. Conduct deep-dive workshops with process owners to understand and accurately document business process requirements for automation projects.

  3. Ensure process changes are appropriate, accurate, effective, and documented before automation.

  4. Facilitate meetings with business end users and business technology as needed.

  5. Assist Developers or/and where applicable configure the workflow based on the detailed business requirements, utilizing Workflow Automation and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) software.

  6. Translate & train end users in the use of development automation software.

  7. In case of process automation software issues, ensure defects are accurately documented, escalated, and resolved in a timely manner.

  8. Coordinate with Developers or/and create new or modify existing reports requested by end users.

  9. Document the performance improvement changes with a major focus on digital automation.

  10. Support delivery and execution of any new process automation initiatives.

  11. Develop process automation project review materials to communicate progress, roadblocks, and opportunities against the project plan.

  12. Understand Software-development life cycle.

  13. Build clear and detailed policies, processes, procedures, work instructions and workflows for all company functions manual & automated operation by identifying the scope of work through a discovery process including interviewing key personnel, documenting current processes, identifying current challenges, and data analysis.

  14. Design detailed systems requirements (workflows) for strategic projects from internal end user or/and external Zain customer.

  15. Build and maintain digital documentation repository for company's process & procedures.

  16. Work closely with daily users and process owners to understand improvement needs (including manual & digital improvements).

  17. Drive improvement with the cooperation of all departments who are impacted by the proposed changes through collaboration to include idea/information sharing, documentation preparation, progress tracking and follow-up.

  18. Participate in and contribute to ISO External & Internal Audits by assisting all organization in implementation & awareness of ISO QMS standard, conducting internal audits, preparing audit reports and follow up of audit findings (Non-Conformity Reports).

  19. Conduct appropriate education and training in support of Business Excellence activities.

Qualifications/Experience

 

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in related fields.

  • Knowledge and experience in process design.

  • Written & Verbal skills in Arabic & English.

  • Computer skills using Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel & Visio)

  • Basic software-development skills & Software-development life cycle.
