Role Purpose

Zain Iraq is Actively recruiting to hire Software Developer Senior Specialist who is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the IT operations such as planning, procuring applications and supporting installation to ensure that the highest standards of technology services are available to achieve the overall objectives of ZAIN IQ and ensure the efficiency of the processes and operations

The job holders might also assess risks to IT security, evaluate potential solutions, propose clear plans and procedures for achieving a secure IT environment, and contribute to creating plans whereby known and potential risks can be managed and eliminated.

Responsibilities

• Develop the IT operations and infrastructure plans in coordination with the IT to ensure the alignment with ZAIN IQ's overall objectives and business plans

• Develop the IT operations and infrastructure policies and procedures and ensure implementation of all relevant procedural/legislative requirements.

• Manage the day-to-day operations of IT by facilitating related professional work processes to achieve high-performance standards.

• Oversee the effective implementation of the application, infrastructure, data centre and network to ensure the highest standards of service are provided aligned with the requirements

• Oversee the various activities conducted on the network connectivity, and security components to ensure the effective implementation and alignment with the SLA and policies and procedures.

• Review and approve the list of the selected vendors for contractual work (applications/network/Infrastructure) defining the standard within which they must work to ensure the highest levels of service and knowledge transfer

• Review and approve the service level agreements and management reporting to ensure that management is up to date with the progress

Education, Experience and Competencies

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science or related fields

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in Laravel framework.

• Good understanding of SQL queries and database design.

• Good experience in jQuery, and Bootstrap.

• Proficient in using Linux.

• Basic understanding of web servers (such as nginx).

• Basic understanding of networking.
