About the Role
Job Purpose:
The Purpose is to integrate application of the Branding & Advertising creative to ZAIN now and in the future and sustain company image in the market to add to the contribution for the profitability , improve Brand position and enhance brand awareness and company reputation in the market, through all branding pillars the corporate Identity Branding support and the channel Branding and Advertisement designs and creatives fully responsible and fully accountable
Key Tasks/Accountabilities:
1. Contribute, as a member of the Branding & Advertising management team to development of the overall Branding & Events strategy, policies and processes.
2. Lead development of the ZAIN annual Branding and Brand Positioning Plans, and to make sure that the targets are realistic and challenging and it will add to the market share, market penetration, customer satisfaction and retention, return on PR and Branding investment and brand development activity.
3. Create a high achievement/high performance culture with in the Branding and Event Team, starting from Recruit the best candidate, Train them, Manage and Motivate them and enhancing their sprit.
4. Facilitate regular monitoring and tracking of progress and achievements in general, and lead effective execution of the Branding and Events
5. Managing the Branding & advertising creative team and coordinate the effort across the Brand Strategy and the integrated plan of agreed Road map, Campaigns Events, development of best in class “fit for purpose” customer communication and marketing support materials, reflection of the agreed brand values across the product/service range and product positioning strategies and plans to maximize profitability
6. Ensure the effectiveness of the Branding & Advertising campaigns, assure the Budget spending level that give the maximum utilization of the resource and sustain good impact.
7. Budgetary management and control across the Branding and Advertising creative Department, monitoring and reporting variances and ensuring expenditure is effectively authorised and managed.
8. Ensure processes are in place to enable effective communication across Branding and Advertising creative Department to create a well-informed and motivated team, by agree challenging performance targets for staff and manage day-to-day activities, overseeing integration of activities and resolving escalated issue
9. Approve Branding and Advertising creative Department projects work close to the teams Supervise the management activities with the Agencies and the vendors, negotiation the Offer parts to ensure the efficiency and the optimization of the Costs
10.. Approve the design and proofs of all display, Branding and other promotional and Advertising creatives and activities
11. Participate in Select the Vendors, explain the projects Ideas to Vendor, and supervise the Vendors performance. And should up great and update all SALa frequently try to achieve the maximum benefit of using the branding and the Advertising as much as possible for cost reduction and optimization
12. Keep an eye for the Competitors branding Activities and Advertising in the market by using the tools of marketing Intelligence, Market Research and Benchmarking studies required to underpin achievement of the Marketing Plan.
13. Lead the development of the ZAIN brand values and act as internal consultant across ZAIN, providing professional advice, guidance and support within Sales and Marketing and cross-functionally, to ensure issues of promotion, positioning and distribution are addressed to deliver a consistent and positive customer experience within agreed segments. Always improve the image to enhance competitive positioning.
14. Focus in region is one of the most crucial tasks the need to be considered while planning and executing the projects and the activities, more over tracking the exists Branding activations in the regions to ensure that its will sustain up to the standard.
15. Oversee relationships with all Vendors and subcontractors, to ensure positive perception of company image and reputation in the market place.
16. Being on the top of all Branding Projects that provide Brand Awareness, Brand exposure and keep ZAIN Image.
17. Liaise closely with management team colleagues within the commercial department and cross-departmentally i.e. Customer Care, HR, CSR, Sponsorship and Corporate Communication to ensure integrated approaches to optimise capacity and service to drive up the Customer and the people experience.
18. Plan, develop and host corporate/Commercial Branding and activities to enhance the reputation and image of ZAIN in the market place.
19. Undertake professional networking, establishing and maintaining effective relationships with Government departments, suppliers, dealer representatives etc.
20. Manage the creative agency and work closely with the creative department to assure the work flow and the creativity level are p to the satisfactory level.
21.Organize the work between the Branding and the Advertising Creative work in priorities projects and campaigns and make amicable environment in the department
22. Represent ZAIN at key events, conferences etc.
23. Provide coaching and training for staff to build overall capability and performance of the Marketing and Media Production team.
24. Undertake any additional relevant tasks/activities as delegated by the Marketing Director & Management.

What We Need From You
Qualifications/Experience:
Educated to Degree level-
Relevant Professional Marketing/Business qualification essential
Minimum 5 years previous experience of Senior Marketing role (Media/ PR/Marketing Projects) in a private sector organisation essential
International management experience preferred
Ability to communicate in Arabic and English essential
Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of all elements of the Marketing Mix
In-depth understanding of the Sudan market and ZAIN business strategy, goals and competitive environment
In-depth knowledge of current best practice of branding and Production methods and approaches
Relevant IT understanding
In-depth Mobile Telecommunications product/market knowledge
Skills:
Highly developed leadership and management skills
Highly developed communication and reporting skills (verbal and written)
Planning and organising skills
Highly developed skills in use of relevant IT packages including Excel. Word, PowerPoint etc.
