About the Role


Job Purpose:

Achieve company advertising strategy on all Media channels, manages large budget and insuring company is receiving maximum benefits. Work closely with internal & external partners to increase products and service awareness and improve company image. Produce all audios, videos and all prints. Ensure optimized utilization of current and future media channels


Key tasks &; Responsibilities:


1.Manage production, ATL, digital, and media team. 


2. Lead the media strategy and be responsible of the development of all advertising communication medians; TV, radio, newspapers, online, digital and in-house Media.


3. Ensure all advertising communication meets Zain standards and objectives and is on time and on budget.


4. Track advertising effectiveness such as top of mind awareness, recall, brand linkage…etc. in cooperation with Marketing research &; external research advisors.


5. Communicate the advertising Media plans and results with the Product owners, sales, touch points and other stakeholders.


6. Work closely and manage the monitoring agency and the media booking agency, make sure that the plans are on the right track and are aligned with the media strategic goals.


7. Give special consideration to the online and the digital medias, as they are becoming one of the most effective medians 


8. Responsible for all the productions of the advertisements; Audios, Video, prints or digital materials.  


9. Apply strong project management skills to deliver projects on time and within the Budget as well as identify potential obstacle/risks and create mitigation plans to manage them.


10. Identifying and create good relations with the production houses and try to achieve the optimum combination of prices and quality that ensures Zain standard application.


11. Monitor and report on activities created and deployed by the media that are Likely to enhance the communication.


12. Proactively manage performance in order to maximize the coverage of Zain activities and ensure that its activities are correctly presented to the media

13. Manage the media at selected events.


14. Recognize new media business opportunities and push for execution according to matching audience or target groups.


15. Annually develop/recruit a brand strengthening mediator

16.Ensure that processes are in place and gets reviewed and evaluated and according to company quality standards adopted.


17. Any other task by manager.



What We Need From You




  • Educated to Degree level-

  • Relevant Professional Marketing/Business qualification is preferred.

  • Minimum 5 years previous experience of Senior Marketing role (Media/ PR/Marketing Projects) in a private sector.

  • International management experience preferred.

  • Ability to communicate in Arabic and English essential




  • In-depth understanding of all elements of the Media Mix

  • In-depth understanding of the Sudan market and telecom business strategy, goals and competitive environment

  • In-depth knowledge of current best practice Advertising and Production methods and approaches.

  • Communication and Copy writing

  • Relevant IT understanding

  • Budgetary management and control
