About the Role
  • Manage the overall running of the sales team.

  • Achieve individual and team monthly sales targets.

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans that expand a company’s customer base and solidify its presence.

  • Generate sales to achieve maximum profitability against monthly sales targets.

  • Identify and report information on market trends and requirements for potential market penetration; any market factor that might affect sales.

  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activity and prepare regular reports & forecasts to enable effective forward planning.

  • Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing the team and by assessing the teams’ strengths and weaknesses.

  • Building and promoting healthy, long-lasting customer relations with existing and new supplier by partnering with them.

  • Developing and implementing new sales initiatives, strategies and programmes to capture key demographics.

  • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • To liaise with the Commercial Manager, Courses & Events Team Leader and colleagues where necessary to include plans to implement any proposed changes and improvements.

  • To undertake other duties as requested

  • To manage the Sales team to achieve the above, through:

    • The setting of objectives for Outdoor sales agents.

    • Conducting regular 1 2 1’s meetings and caching with Outdoor sales agents.

    • Timetable & Absence management for Outdoor sales agents.

    • Performance management

    • The support and development of the team

    • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of Zain’s products & services and of relevant sales techniques and provide needed training to Outdoor Sales Agents to ensure that the sales role is carried out as effectively as possible.

Qualifications & Experience
  • B.Sc. in Sales & Marketing or equivalent.

  • A minimum of 5 to 8 years' experience in telecoms network or marketing relations.
