About the Role

Job Purpose:

The “Fintech Support Trainee“ will be responsible for assisting in providing support and maintenance for the company's fintech app and serving as a secondary level liaison between the company’s eco-service providers. The role is critical for ensuring seamless integration between the fintech app and other services required for facilitating the implementation of innovative solutions and offerings.

Main Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Assist “Fintech Support Lead” in daily activities and projects.

  • Assist in providing support and maintenance for the fintech app to ensure it operates efficiently and effectively.

  • Act as secondary liaison between the company and eco-service providers to ensure seamless integration and data exchange between systems.

  • Follow up with vendors to ensure delivery timelines and delivery quality.

  • Assist in monitoring and evaluating the performance of the fintech app and identifing areas for improvement.

  • Test and debug the app to ensure it operates efficiently and effectively.

  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure the app is integrated with other systems and processes.

  • Assist in translating new business ideas and products into reality by working with eco-service providers to bring them to completion.

  • Test the app to ensure that new ideas and products are functioning as intended.

  • Define with the related parties the project tasks/plan and update them on a regular basis.

  • Follow up on testing and report the progress.

  • Assist in evaluating change requests and finalizing them with the related parties.

  • Understand the full details in the software requirements specification documents and validate them with the actual deliverables.

  • Handling App issues and timely escalating risks to a point where they are satisfactorily mitigated.

  • Be aware at all times of the project’s status, scope, and milestones.

  • Assist in handling departmental documentation and invoicing.

  • Handle all assigned tasks in a professional and timely manner.

  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and advancements in fintech and IT.

  • Ensure that data privacy and security standards are maintained in accordance with industry regulations.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.

  • Fresh Graduate with IT knowledge and basic Fintech knowledge.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Knowledge of eco-service provider requirements and the ability to effectively communicate with them.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.

  • Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations and standards.

  • Ability to translate technical concepts into non-technical language.

  • Experience with software testing and quality assurance.
