About the Role

Monitoring RAN network performance for all technologies (2G, 3G, 4G, FLTE) through participating in tests; identifying related issues, reporting them, and taking necessary actions to resolve them accordingly, in addition to the participation in configuration activities to ensure optimal utilization of resources, satisfy business needs and maintain network performance levels and customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities, will include but will not be limited to:

  • Conducting Radio Frequency (RF) drive tests; collecting data and statistics and analyzing them subsequently; in order to evaluate network’s performance and detect faults/ issues/ service degradation.

  • Contributing in monitoring RAN Key Performance Indicators and analyzing network performance related parameters for all technologies (2G,3G,4G, FLTE) for Huawei and Nokia systems, data and statistics, to identify any deviation from targets, and subsequently reporting it to take further actions.

  • Handling configuration, traffic re-engineering and parameter auditing activities covering RAN systems and equipment, according to the Zain’s quality standards and set plans to fulfill identified site’s needs and overcome any changes in site’s environment that affect network performance, while ensuring optimal utilization of resources and proper customer experience.

  • Acceptance of new sites/technologies from RNP team and ensure achievement of targeted KPIs.

  • Support customer complaints team by handling area-level issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Increase efficiency of work by automating routine tasks.

  • Performing other duties related to the job as assigned by the direct supervisor.

What We Need From You

To be shortlisted for this position, you will need to comply with all of the below requirements:

  • Holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Communication Engineering or a related field..

  • Preferred 2 years of relevant experience.
