Enterprise Systems Development Team Leader

Manage the design, deployment and configuration of Enterprise Systems in alignment to the Business Demand and Technology Strategy/Architecture Blueprints and Roadmaps

  1. Lead & manage the design (HLD and LLD), deployment and configuration Enterprise and MIS Systems including ERP (Supply Chain, HR Management, and Finance), Revenue Assurance, Business Performance Management, Enterprise Content Management (ECM), Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Fraud Management, Enterprise Portals, Enterprise Self-Services Apps, Enterprise Collaborations Services, Enterprise Knowledge Management, and Enterprise Asset Management.
  2. Manage and develop integration and fulfillment requirements within Enterprise Services development platforms and other technology platforms Providing Systems APIs Integrations to Service Platforms Engineering Development Team.
  3. Follow up integration and fulfillment architecture design to reduce cost and time to market in alignment with tech architecture –ensure efficient abstraction.
  4. Ensure the Development & Availability of technical procedures and documentation for all the applications including High & Low level design documents, technical implementation documents, operation docs, user guide, etc. for Enterprise and MIS systems based on Frameworks (e.g. ITIL, CoBIT, ISO20000)
  5. Manage the deployment lifecycle, manage development through vendors (in case of out-tasking / outsourcing), Assess Vendor Performance and provide regular reports and feedback to program management governance (PMO) and vendor management.
  6. Provide 3rd level support in coordination with vendors as needed.
  7. Forecast business demand based on development pipeline and update capacity management
  8. Analyze business requests and translate them into technical requirements
  9. Participate in demand planning and management committee for feedback on development, system interdependencies and project prioritization
  10. Participate in technology Business planning Cycle through identification of Annual Project Plans and the provisioning of Cost Estimates
  11. Ensure the Alignment with tech architecture on adherence to principles and standards
  12. Develop change requirements, perform impact assessment and identify projects (if change is not configuration)
  13. Lead acceptance tests (unit, platform, integration and operation) and ensure smooth handover to operations
  14. Support in business acceptance tests - UAT (user acceptance tests)
  15. Develop and update the technical documentation of applications
  16. Participate in the development of RFP scopes/specifications/response assessment in alignment with vendor management
  17. Perform capacity upgrades in line with service capacity management guidelines and current capacity status
  18. Lead the Design and implementation of strategic projects (part of the technology roadmap)
  19. Promoting best practices in design and development of services.
  20. Contribute to and implement standards and changes to services and processes
  21. Ensuring design and development is in compliance with integrations and service design standards, processes and policies following the process and standards defined in ITIL/SDLC process guideline & Best Practices.
  22. Ensure compliance with all applicable policies & regular requirements on Information Security.
  23. Drive continuous improvements.
  24. Assess and document the architecture of existing services
  25. Develop and maintain road-map that delivers the solution architecture
  26. Work closely with product and scrum teams to manage team-level projects
  27. Govern the implementation through collaboration with team-level architects and component owners to drive a unified design
  28. Manage and update function KPIs and regular Progress Reports.

  30. To be fully accountable for the quality, accuracy of timeline and effectiveness of reports, KPI’s and the team SMART-i’s.

  1. Reports to BSS/OSS & Enterprise Systems Development Senior Manager.
  2. Solid understanding on large-scale, high-performance enterprise application deployment and solution architecture on complex heterogeneous environments.
  3. Proven ability to work independently; designing, developing and deploying solutions, and to deliver projects on time and on budget with minimal direction.
  4. Familiarity with the principles of agile and lean development methodologies
  5. Ability to work efficiently in a constantly changing environment where the process is fluid and unique solutions are desired.
  6. Highly self-directed and able to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent and competing or conflicting challenges.
  7. Significant experience designing and delivering complex Enterprise systems and applications in a data centric environment.
  8. Deep experience with software development practices, standards, and technologies.
  9. Able to effectively engage product management, project management, and IT stakeholders.
  10. Able to effectively manage risk in the implementation of architecture.
  11. Strong communication, documentation, presentation, and modeling skills.
  12. Adhering to ITIL & TMForum Processes & Best Practices.

  1. Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Related discipline.
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in related field.
  3. Experience on Object-Oriented Languages like Java Python & C++ languages.
  4. Experience on web development languages including HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JQuery.
  5. Experience on Enterprise Application Development Platforms Skills (e.g., Odoo, SharePoint)
  6. Experience on Mobile app development is an advantage.
  7. Knowledge and experience of RDBMS.
  8. Knowledge and experience on Linux and Windows OS.
  9. Knowledge in telecommunication domain.
  10. Vendor Specific Certifications is a Plus
  11. TMForum certification is a Plus.
  12. BPEL knowledge.
