Enterprise Segment Manager

Description

Main Responsibilities & Duties:
  • Generate new revenues for Zain and gain penetration into new clients business.
  • Grow existing revenues for Zain and gain penetration into existing clients business.
  • Achieve individual and team monthly sales targets.
  • Monitors performance of his team and provides feedback, coaching, career development plans and corrective actions.
  • Plan and design solutions to potential/existing clients by understanding their requirements in terms of business needs, priorities, etc.
  • Provide proper feasibility study/analysis, documentation, etc. of all proposals.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive and consistent communication plans for all segment partners;
  • Understand all stakeholders priorities and how they are changing over time.
  • Work with team members across functions within Zain’s group to define and develop products and services process offering throughout segments.
  • Analyse primary and secondary research to understand customer needs and create positioning strategies and value propositions for the assigned customer segment(s).
  • Assess competitive environment and market dynamics to identify trends
  • Lead by example within the group visiting key end users in the segment alongside key decision makers across all areas of the organization
  • Identify new leads, assigns accounts to sales staff.
  • Review every opportunity and ensure all opportunities are progresses or closed.
  • Ensure all sales are closed at price that meets the profitability levels set by the segment.
  • Responsible for the appropriate use of the business systems throughout the sales teams in the geography.
  • Evaluating team members performance and providing suitable coaching sessions, balancing criticism with positivity and motivation;
  • Provide input to the segment's quarterly rolling forecast.
  • Support the bid process and coordinate multi-segment bids where necessary.
  • Analyse the market and competitive landscape and ensures adequate coverage.
  • Communicate changes to all stakeholders on regular basis.
  • Deliver excellent customer services to all clients and ensure that his team does the same.
  • Structure business cases to support initiatives to drive acquisition, retention and loyalty.
  • Participate in the recruitment process of new sales staff (both internal and external).
  • Maintain a challenging and professional environment.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor degree in Sales, Marketing or any relevant field of study.
  • 5-8 years of operational experience in the field of telecommunications and management.
Competencies:
  • Understanding of product line's technical offering and synergies between other product lines
  • Demonstrate ability in problem solving, crafting a win-win solution (collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions in a timely basis) and negotiation with special emphasis on closing the sale
  • Proven success in developing new business and generating sales leads by managing a territory and selling activities
  • Deep knowledge of markets where customers operate
  • Strong professional relationships with customers at all levels
  • Effective in pipeline and opportunity management process
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills
  • Excellent communicator
  • Expert in bidding, with a proven bidding track record
  • Proven record of successful negotiations

What Do You Need to Qualify

Zain Bahrain is actively recruiting for the role of Enterprise Segment Manager. In this role, you are expected to Develop, support and increase the sales of each segment by analysing and interpreting market and customer trends. Deliver robust segment strategies and initiatives, working closely with nominated key accounts, identifying key products and services requirements and coordinating this through local sales teams. You will also be Responsible for specific channel customers identified along with overall channel development in support of the regional, segment, products and services strategies consistent with overall channel objectives
